lol. alright its been quite some time since i blogged... kinda forgotten wad happened the past few days in fact. lke whn u wanna recall abt it den u just cant.. zzz. ohwell anw thnx to andrew (the monster) who stole my laptop for one whole week (or was it longer den tt..?) hence depriving me of online-ing for tt whole period. yeah i reli missed my laptop so much u know. but now its finally back!! yeah~ back in my home sweet home WITH ME~~ *gives big bear hug* lol ehh i reli love my laptop can~ =P

alright but im kinda fan2 now. got back my laptop but.. cant sign in to frenster, can use language bar, cant load picture.. this and that. grrrr its getting on my nerves! OKAY RELAX XINYI. i'll slowly figure it out.

220507: met christine. went to paradiz centre's daisy rock to look at guitars. cool they haf jamming studios too ;) nice place. went to meet tim at city hall, ate at mos burger, lamed and crapped... den andrew came to meet us. walked to boat quay, met yirun, went to actors' bar... oooh de ppl who perform der reli got some standard one sia. not bad~ hha and den it was our turn to perform. heh. well its definitely not gd. lotsa effects not in place and stuff lah.. well anw its a nice exp and lesson to be learned from. chris left after tt, den de rest of us walked arnd to clarke quay and back again.. den home. and tt was de day i forgot abt my laptop. ahhhhhhhh. =(
was on de cab with yirun alr.. den andrew called..

yeah. so in de end my laptop's still with him.. haix. poor laptop... =P lol

240507: sorta fell sick on tues. was supposed to go for drums and celebrate aipong's bday and watch spiderman3 after tt... but didnt go out at all cos wasnt feeling well. haix.. wasted!! didnt get to eat good food, didnt get to meet ntmb ppl, didnt get to watch spiderman3, didnt get to play drums!!! grrrr. WASTE MY MONEY. rahhhhh. im angry. with myslf. hmpf.

250506: and my condition didnt improve despite resting de whole day ytd and taking panadol religiously. now its confirmed tt panadol doesnt work on me. fever, flu, sore throat.. all of which worsened during my almost-twelve hours of work. yeah gruelling day for me. and whn i got home, it didnt get any better. guess my mom was in a bad mood too. well SO WAS I. and so i was kinda pissed off with her tone and stuff. shant elaborate much. vry long story. slpt on de sofa tt nite. living room was freaking hot. and tt didnt make my mood any better. grr wads up with the weather mann...

260507: i finally surrendered and went to see de doc. rested for another day.. and finally felt myslf getting better arnd late evening. yay =]

270507: fever's gone! nose still a little stuffy.. voice kinda gone.. but i was well enuff to leave my hse and even travelled a thousand miles to simei. wahahaha! =X ok so me and raymond went to andrew's hse to do some vocal techniques stuff. learned some theory stuff from him and phoebe.. den they forced me to try composing. =S and tt was how andrew the monster emerged. hahaha no lah its just tt he sudd seemed "intimidating" while trying to listen to my garbled hummings. maybe its just me lah. lols. well tried lotsa times... and finally i came out with an (i think) ok melody. which raymond found nice too. yayy! *clap clap* hahahaah ok but i forgot de tune alr lah so.. lalalala. =P

went for dinner at kobayashi, and den to kopitiam cos the monster wasnt full and wanted an additional bowl of prawn noodles *rolls eyes* lol anw, dinner was reli funny. cos of de 3D lame. LOL just thinking abt it makes me laugh. imagine de impact it had on us whn raymond 1st showed and told us. DAMN DAMN FUNNY CANNNNN. hahhah. went back to andrew's place and they "trained" me on my stage craft to prepare me for 8th june. =S ok still got lotsa room for improvement.. i'll try to jia-more-you ok? =]

den it was today. my 2nd last day of work.. last day working with yvonne =(( im gonna miss her so much. she's lke one of de best working partners i've ever had in my life! reli hope i'll keep in touch with her =)

ok its late. long long day tmr. lotsa things to do. and my comp is still irritating me a bit. grrrr. shall slp 1st.


19th may 2007.. reli memorable day for me!! =D im currently feeling vry... happy? warm and fuzzy? satisfied? proud? yeah lotsa emotions now... gd thing they're all positive ones ;)

ok so today's de big day. supposed to wake up at 6am but somehow i just off-ed de alarm and slpt all de way til 6.30 until andrew sms-ed me... "awake?" yeah. den i just "OH SHIT" and jumped rite up. haahah okay so i was a bit late for meeting yirun but turns out he's later -.- called him at 7.05 den "huh.. im still slping.." .......... well im professionally trained in de waiting industry so its fine. =PpP *nudges peiwen*

anw, met andrew at hougang int and reached christine's hse arnd 8.45.. did makeup and hair.... hehhh busy busy day for christine eh. lols but reli thanks a lot!! for all de efforts in doing our makeup and hair for us and my nails too... reli appreciate it! =D *huggs* lols yeah i love my larling. =P

reached Lcube arnd 1.. just in time for de soundcheck =] AND ANDREW'S HAIR TOTALLY ROCKS!! hahahaa he went to monsoon to style it.. and its super nice! vry pluck-able. vry dragonball. very esplanade. LOL!! its damn funny lah. =P but its reli nice and rock-y. haha yup love it.

yeah and so... gig was gd today! =D it wasnt our best but, its gd enuff =) and thnx to those ppl who came down to support us!! namely peiwen, shaowei, vye rern.. and some other frens lah =] hope u all enjoyed the whole gig =]

went to a nearby chi restaurant recommended by andrew.. hmm food quite gd. but not filling enuff =P haha went to cine after tt. supposed to chill and talk lah.. cldnt reli find a place so settled at xin wang hk restaurant and ate dessert and milo-kong-long (milo dinosaur) =P de event was lke de funniest thing ever. lol i love having meals with this bunch =P

and den de emo part... talked abt quite a lot of things.. serious atmosphere.. abt andrew leaving the band and stuff lke tt. not gonna blog abt tt but well, conclusion is tt, andrew's not leaving!! so tts reli gd =D haha yeah.. feel reli happy and glad abt tt =] yup so in conclusion, guess today's gig was quite successful! and seriously, i love D'RebirthX. its my life =)

D'RebirthX has 6 members. these 6 members will not change. we're more than a band, more than frens.. more lke a family (yeah with raymond as papa =P ok back to serious stuff..) its hard to describe how it's lke. maybe its just me feeling this way.. but i think we're reli bonded and close, and we do haf de band spirit in us. its not easy to find the right ppl to click with in a band, with similar standards, and personalities that... yah. click right from the beginning. ok im not gd with words. but one thing for sure, i reli love my band a lot. its de best thing i've ever gotten myself into. i reli think D'RebirthX's gd. we rock. yes we reli do ;)

met up with pw and marilyn for shopping today... wooooo im finally shopping again. lols not tt im rich but, becos i haf to. hehh all for de gig~ =] lols anw, had toriQ for lunch, den went to bugis street to find my gig clothes. walked soooo much and in de end went back to de 2nd shop we stopped at -.- yeahhh wad a waste of my energy. haha anyways, bought a white long sleeve shirt and a black jacket.. reli vry sorrie to gold mbr and ahwen!! =(( make u all walk arnd with me to find my clothes... den cant even look at sunglasses in peace =( im so sorry!

went to dhoby to meet yirun after tt.. okayy im sorry im A BIT late =P went to christine's hse to do all de make up and hair.. omggg yirun looks damn PRETTY with makeup can!!! hahaahah super chio sia. liew how can we girls lose to him mann. hahahaha but it was reli nice. super jrock =D lols. and de part where chris applied de lip gloss for him is damn funny too. he didnt even dare to talk properly. LOL. in fact, it was funny to see chris applying each makeup to him. tt applies to andrew too. damn entertaining to see guys putting makeup. once in a lifetime experience sia. lols~~ =P

ok so we went down to jamming with full makeup and gig clothes. and of cos de one who stole all de "limelight" was our dear drummer.. cos he's de only guy wearing makeup and a sleeveless shirt AND leather pants and tts not sth u see everyday. haha =P ok lets not digress. yup so today's full-dress rehearsal for us...

and this is sth im reli happy abt. i think all band mbrs were able to see tt =P

today's sound was so much better!!!! xD thnx to jane too for helping us set some stuff and most imptly adjusted my glam sky mike vol. so im no longer straining to hear myslf, nor straining my voice and anything else (ooh it rhymes.) yup and our playing's gd today too =)) okay. and so.. de gd settings and gd playing made vry gd music today and made me vry happy =)

yeah but somehow... mood dropped a bit towards de end of jamming... haix. hopefully things will change for de better =))


grrrrrr today's jamming session was de worst. pissed me off SOOO MUCH. stupid sound settings. duno which IDIOT hand itchy go adjust de speakers equalizers until everything sounds damn lousy and muffled and SCREWED UP.

and im very broke plus hungry.

and i dun lke my singing today. it just sounds so sucky. wads wrong with you xinyi. grrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

LOL ok. we did work hard ok. didnt doze off at all =P

IN DE END we finished at lke 5.30 -.-" yah. very gd. no nid take cab liao. can just take 1st train home le. lols. walked to de apparently-nearby geylang for super-early breakfast at some coffee shop.. hehh toasted bread and iced-milo. while andrew had his "kue neng peng". hahaha made me and raymond laughed so much loh. and saw lotsa pro-s too.. =S scary ppl. hahah no lah.

yup so by de time i got home and slpt it was 7am.. in fact i fell into a deep slp while standing from aljunied to tiong bahru -.- ok im a vry tired person. heh and woke up at noon... den went out arnd evening to meet ahgold for dinner..

SO LONG NV SEE HER!!!!! hahaha although only spent lke 45mins eating.. but still happy to see her! haha cant wait for next tues. go out go out! =PpP met andrew and yirun at tanjong after tt and went jamming.. hmm jamming today was quite fruitful! lols. did de sound adjustments and stuff.. hopefully we'll sound nice on tt day =]

and did i mention i just got myslf a sore throat 2 days ago? =x crapppp. but thnx to de extra strong strepsils, it healed quite quickly.. hopefully it doesnt come back again. hehh yah so today cldnt reli sing much towards de end of jamming =x so sorrie guys. lol.

crappp im SUPER FULL now can. hehs just went to united square's vienna restaurant to have dinner... yep celebrating mothers' day in advance cos me and mom're not free on mothers' day =( ohwells. haha anw, de buffet dinner was reli reli filling. up to de extend tt i cant breathe =S and i think im kinda blind too cos i walked arnd 3 times before i spotted the chocolate fondue!! OMG its been lke screaming out to me but i just didnt see it.. haha yeah so had lotsa servings of tt =P and think i ate a lot of desserts on top of my fAv sashimi and seafood and everything else tt looks nice.. from pudding, to hot red bean soup, den ice cream, fondue, some other funny stuff... heh all japalang duno will lau sai anot =x well anw i haf de med lah so nvm =P

okieee so dinner was vry vry filling today. hmms. 40bucks per person. well, a gd enuff mothers' day present? =P and now im broke. arghhh. so... no more cab rides for me. =|


busy busy bee is taking a break from work again.. went to see a doc regarding my stupid stomach cramps again.. apparently it has nth to do with my diet so.. i can eat anything i wan!!! =D okok i'll wait until im better before i do tt huh.. just in case. well and i had a cat bite ytd cos tt cat doesnt reli lke injections.. so bit my hand =x plastered them up and came home to realise one of de bite wounds was swollen.. asked de doc abt tt just now too and he gaf me some antibiotics.. scared tio infection sia =x wah lke so serious lidat.. i nv knew cat bites cld be serious =x haha ok now i noe.. hopefully it'll be ok!

yup so i took mc again today.. feel so bad! clinic today shorthanded cos only me and alicia working.. and now im on mc. duno they now how.. =S oh no.. reli feel bad for taking mc on such days.. =(( sorry!!


and im feeling happy and warm inside. for once i feel the start of a dream come true and me being able to do sth i like =)) i cant wait to learn everything, cant wait to start on sth new, cant wait to feel the satisfaction coming from the results of my own production from nth.. im so sure this is gonna be sth i'll love a lot =]


dragged my laptop from home to parkmall, to bugis, to ps, and finally to Lcube studio den andrew told me he doesnt need it. big fat -________________- thnx ar andrew for giving me de opportunity to train my biceps. wooooo. -.- lols

anw, went to eat lunch with pw at qq den went to bugis to shop a bit.. hehhh got my sparkling eyeliner (finally!) and my za mascara (FINALLY). initially wanted to go christine's hse stone cos ahwen gotta leave early at 5+.. den i nth to do until 7.30 -.- but in de end yirun ask me go ps see piano... ok so i found sth to do. BUT he was SOOO late we ended up only having time for dinner. and were still late for jamming. -_- grrrrr I HATE YIRUN. LOLZ.

and tt girl spent 3 light years in this fashion trying on a million pieces of clothes and ended up buying only one. -.- and poor me became her portable plasticbag-cum-handbag-cum-jacket holder in the blink of an eye. haix wad haf i done to deserve this mann.... LOL jkjk =P

thnx to the this fashion shopping spree, meet-up-for-lunch ended at 4.30pm -.- went off to meet my mom for dinner.. den went to kbox impromptu-ly =P lols. initially supposed to go with christine one... but she pangseh-ed us. =PpP haha in de end asked shaowei and vye... and WOAH. they are lke super on can. haha yups so went to je kbox with them after dinner and sang the nite away~~ =P
