being a true-blue worry-wart, my mom pulled me up in the middle of a nap to ask me to make a trip down to the hospital for a blood test just in case i contracted dengue again. -.- de effect of de drowsy medicine i took just a while before my nap wasnt even over yet so i was mainly stumbling and woah-woah-ing abt. and of cos trying to walk straight w/o having ppl think im drunk or sth. zzzz.

and so i spent 2 hrs lying on tt hospital "bed" and got a nice big jab for my blood test. omg i was so shocked at the length of de needle whn the nurse took out my catheter. its lke tttthhhiiiisssss long u noe. =S well anw my bld test indicated tt im just having a normal flu and its not reli likely to be dengue so, tts gd to hear =] false alarm~

dad came to pick my mom and i up and we went to hbf.. hehhh wad a nice family outing (im not being sarcastic. really.) had 3 vouchers for starbucks azuki coffee so we had one each =] and i also bought this chicken quiche tts made of gold and costs 5bucks =| well its quite nice lah so still ok.

and today is de day i realised my dad is kinda lame too. hahaha its been so long since i laughed in de family..

okiee im finally back from camp! haha alright acheli i was back 3 days ago but was kinda ill so didnt bother to blog. haix having too little water and rest (and food?) during de camp must've been the reason.. anw just hope my fever will go down soon so i can ENJOY de very last of my 8mths hols..

anw, de camp was quite fun! love the ppl in my og cos we're of abt the same frequency and they're just reli fun ppl to joke arnd with =] and all my gls rock too. YES AEMI ROCKS! xD

and of cos not forgetting the events..

day1: went over to some chalet-lookalike/camp site at bb and played those stuff tt reminds me of obs. haha yes the high beam and burma bridge (according to james, the borneo bridge. lol) and had some station games at night.. hmm i oni rmbr de twister part. =S test our flexibility sia...

day2: went over to sentosa early in the morning for beach games.. and der was this station where de guy gotta piggyback the girl and ans a qn before they can move forward. qn: which is heavier, 1 kg of cotton, or 1 kg of steel? and donovan kept insisting on cotton despite all of us screaming "SAME!!" behind them. hahaaha it was damn funny. and of cos we kept harping on tt throughout the camp aftewards =P lols.

had fright night after tt.. gotta walk through dragon trail =S and as if tt wasnt scary enuff, the gls kept telling us spooky stories and stuff to "create the atmosphere". -_-" ohwells anw, we're supposed to go in pairs (1 guy 1 girl) but my grp was lucky. we had 1 guy and 3 girls. lol yup so it wasnt as scary and programmers kept asking why der are so mani ppl in thise grp whenever we passed a station. anw, de last station was at a bunker where de girl gotta cover the corpse with a cloth. i pulled the cloth over the corpse's head and de corpse jumped up and grabbed the zombie's hand instead of mine. LOL! at tt pt im lke, err is he supposed to grab my hand instead? and i was trying not to laugh. (think the zombie and corpse trying not to laugh too.) haha den de zombie went, u grabbed the wrong hand.. u shld grab her hand.... lol. yah so de corpse grabbed my hand but of cos it wasnt scary anymore. =P lol

day3: moved back to ntu hostel and had SP initiation. we're supposed to be blindfolded but in de end i realised my sp wasnt cos he's a senior. -.- rahhhh. haha anw, we're all given nicknames. mine was rachel and ross (from friends). tts lke sooo normal cos we heard ppl having lol ones lke ahbeng ahlian, phua chu kang, harry potter, nemo etc. hmm and we talked for 4hrs while sitting der waiting for our turn at the stations. =| omg cant believe i can actually talk for sooo long. lol. and we're quite lucky we got to sit on a bench. heard many others were sitting on curbs and floors =X

day4: pool games in de morning were cancelled cos of the rain. and arnd noon de guys hafta go arnd looking for their SPs in the 8 diff rooms. haha it was quite entertaining looking at them being tekan-ed by the seniors =P went to pariss to haf dinner after tt.. woohoo de best dinner ever! haha at least it was more filling =P and went to dxo after tt for clubbing.. ha it was my 1st time going into a smoke-free club and omg de air is just sooo diff. a bit not used to seeing everything clearly and smelling no smoke.. but its gd lah =]

day5: prepared our skit for finale.. yeah its just a recap of all de funny things tt happened in our og. including the "cotton!!" and my zombie experience. lol and we won de best skit!! muahahha =P oh and before de finale we're playing this game called ng 100s... rahhh we had to redo sooo mani times!! but yeah we got a nice record of 69secs =D woohoooo~ yup tts abt it for last day.. cant reli rmbr much =X break camp was arnd 12am.. zzz they told us 10pm! >=( and der werent a lot of cabs in ntu so we gotta take bus to int den take cab.. shared cab with eric cos he also lives in de west and yes, im finally back home =]

cant wait for the meetup with my og!! cant wait to play the superman game with them again. hahaha our trademark game okAy~~ lols. i miss aemi!! xD

BUT AT THE 3RD SHOP, walked in and saw this black and pink shoe tts quite nice. so i took another look at it and YES tts de one i got xD hahaha didnt get it from tt shop though. they were selling at 119 =X well they prob haf some discount but i forgot to ask.. anw, bought it at de next shop for 83bucks. =] quite an ok price. haha yeahh and i also decided to get tt pair within 5minutes from the time i tried on both sides. hey its a feat okayy. =P

went to ikea eat dinner.. and amazingly its friday and they sell fish&chips! haha ok lah duno whether its just dinner or wad, but its not fish&chips. its fish with chive (which peiwen saw as CHIVAS initially -_- u alcoholic.. lol) sauce instead. well wadever i didnt reli care. its just FISH ok. =P yah and i was kinda hungry too..

lol today's the most sian-est and impromptu-est day EVER.

ok shall start with ytd. met gina and peiwen at cck and went to linn htet's bbq tgt... and luckily i ate some yakun kaya toast before i went cos de bbq wasnt reli filling =X talked to gina and pw a bit... den after tt went up to lh's place to slack. omggg entering his hse is lke entering a hotel suite room. DAMN NICE CAN. lols. anw, watched a bit of tv/dvd/movie, played a bit of texas poker.. and lost away my whole 5bucks. zzzzz ok im a beginner with absolute-zero luck.

den bandmates called in and conferenced.. with a bit of frankie and peiwen. lol. anw, stayed at lh's place until arnd 4am den went to bt timah to eat roti prata.. woohoooo so fattening. hahaha den went home.. and tt peiwen stalked me!!!! LOL no lah she came over my hse to work. no not as a maid. but to exploit my internet service so she can work and earn money while i get nth out of it. haix... hahaha ok tts a whole lot of crap.

i woke up at 1+, she ended work at 1+. den we went to bb to settle her internet stuff... had a sudd craving for pizza hut's peps n spice pasta so was wondering if der's any outlet near westmall. asked the yirun who's living in bb.. and he came down to join us for "lunch" cos he's still hungry after eating lunch. -.-

wad a heartwarming weekend it has been! haha 1st of all, i finally get to STEP into a symphonic band again.. de feeling whn a flute was passed into my hands, de feeling whn i held the flute again and walked up to the stage (where de band's gonna play) with it, and the feeling of playing just a scale on the flute... all of it is just so nostalgic! haha guess not many will understand this kinda feeling lah, but it felt reli nice to me =]

anw, met up with xiao huan and went for lunch at jp before heading to ntu.. lol amazingly we didnt get lost or anything. walked arnd nanyang auditorium and cldnt find ANY spot of the band in tt place.. yah so we started to think of its some kinda joke or sth. lol anw, met this girl called cynthia outside de audi! =D haha and as i "expected", she's a flautist too!! xD hahah yayyyy i found myslf a new section mate =P anw, we 3 sorta clicked quite quickly lah.. and finally found our way into the deep part of the auditorium where de welcome tea was held. zzz reli no directions loh. if those seniors didnt tell us its inside the inside of the audi we wldnt even think of it =S

yup and my section's reli BIG. not tt its such shocking news lah cos flute section has alwaes been quite populated -or rather, overpopulated =S yah.. we haf lke 9 seniors and 4 freshies. so tt makes 13 flutes in the band =X but de seniors are all reli nice and frenly lah. so tts alright =D

had a brief introduction to each of the bandmates, played 3 pieces with them... and OMG i think my skills reli suck now. my tone sux! i cant play running notes! and my embouchure feels weird =( well maybe cos im not used to the pearl flute.. i still prefer the feel of a miyazawa flute. its just soo different.. haha ok no more excuses~ XINYI PRACTICE MORE PLS. but tt'll be after i manage to borrow one home since i dun haf one *did anyone get de hint? =PpP* lol but i will get my skills back OKAYY. one day =D

anw, reached der arnd 3++ and saw some bands perform... well can only rmbr a few tt made a greater impact on me lah. haha and 1st of all its of cos hellvenx! =D lol. i lke the guitarists and bassist mann. esp de guitars. think their techniques are reli gd (to me lah. from a know-nth-abt-guitars person kinda view) and they RELI play vry charmingly. hahaha got US (u noe who u are huh... =P) fa hua chi-ing all de way sia =PpP LOL. yup and there's also rayve.. love their cover of okizarisu! think joy's vocals are really great! cld sense her feelings and everything.. love it! =D haha yup and der's also nowplaying.. only heard a bit but i still love de vocals anw. she rocks! =D hahaa

yup so tts abt it. ok so de competition came and went.. and now its over alr. many things have been happening lately, with lotsa decisions being made.. they werent easy to make, for one thing.. neither were they nice to say out =( but.. i guess its reli just a matter of time.. on my side, at least. so since its alr lke this, shall just end it here and now..

but honestly, i reli reli hope tt the end of our journey will not mean the end of your journey. pls do not give up on urslf or on ur music. if its sth u reli have a passion for and sth u think u will be able to do for life, just follow ur heart and pursue it with all u've got. obstacles, be it physically, emotionally or otherwise, will alwaes exist, so pls dun stop becos of them. lke wad i mentioned before, its alright to suspend things for a while.. but pls dun put a definite stop to it unless u're reli sure u do not haf even the least bit of passion in it anymore.. music aside.. every family has their problems. if u haf anything tt u wanna grumble abt or anything tt we can help with, u noe u can still come to us rite? the end of this journey doesnt mean we are walking out of ur life completely. we are still here for u. things will always turn out fine at de end of de day, so stay strong and hang on, ok? =)
