yeah gig's finally over. feeling so relieved now! haha wasnt skyler's best though. shall work harder yah... but think de gig was quite a success. had many debut performances! wld've been reli great had it not been for the restrictions from suntec management on volume control and security stuff. AND the sound systems part for the unbalanced sound for certain bands (like skyler. -_-) was a little pissed with them for drowning out our weekend solos and ht's maru solo and the stupid mic with the loose cable which made me sing until DAMN pek cek during weekend. ohwells. not easy for soundmen to balance sound anw so shall not harp on it too much.. will conc on honing the skills than hoping for better luck next time.

nevertheless, enjoyed most of the performances i watched!! :)) hope to see them back again in future gigs. will definitely go support!! :D

anw, went to ecp jumbo for seafood after gig!!! :D:D:D u haf NO IDEA how high the level of joy was for me when i f-i-n-a-l-l-y got to eat SPICY FOOD. it was omgly!!! lol. and devin treated us ytd!! domo arigatou gozaimasu~ hahaha. think i ate quite a lot ytd =x compared to the appetite i had for de past few days.. well. i did say i was deprived of gd food right? wahahaha. cheers to chilli crabs, fried yam rings and oatmeal prawns!!!! u rock my world :D


grade5 results are out!!!! yeapie im happy today :))) well at least in the noon. haha was still asking andrew when de results will be out last nite and he said june. den today got results liao. haha tts kinda fast. anyhoo, almost forgot abt my decision to s/u jap or not... its reli kinda hard to score!! x( listening and oral cfm also more chui... haiz how how how!!!!!

was practising speedmaster just now and felt the same demoralised feeling i felt ytd (oh btw i've recovered from that short burst of depression. was just feeling horrible at tt moment hence de "emo" post) haix maybe i shld just stop practising altogether and just WHACK on sunday with the hope of everything going right. lols. ok think i'll do just tt. it'll be worse if i cause any further "damage" to my vocal cords now right??? *cognitive dissonance*

had dinner with ahwen at westmall mayim restaurant.. yummm de la mian vry nice!! din get to eat de guo tie (fried dumplings) though.. DRESS. omg im still damn stunned that i actually got A D-R-E-S-S. like, xinyi?? dress??????? they dun go tgt u noe. but well.... I GOT A DRESS ZOMG!!! im turning into a girl-y girl!!!!! =O!!! and we're gonna wear tt for sf tgt.. LOLLL.

shopping for accessories and stuff on thurs and my gig stuff're done. but tt means forsaking a whole day of slacking :((( i wan to sleepppppppppppp

anw, had dinner at waraku after jamming ytd. FINALLY A BAND DINNER!!! its been a million years since the WHOLE band ate tgt. eh hello hello dun take our past bondings for granted leh!!! must MAINTAIN one leh >=( lols. anw my meal at waraku ytd was reli PATHETIC. had mini hokkai don (with 4 pathetic pieces of salmon sashimi and salmon roe) and its lke VERY small bowl. not that it wasnt filling. it was. but it just seemed vry ke lian and therefore not as appetising when u compare to the other dishes on de table.. :( well anw, de salmon roe was kinda salty. I MISS THE SALMON ROE I HAD IN OSAKA!!!! SWEET SWEET ONE!!!!!!!!!!!! X( but aiyah was damn hungry and it wasnt bad so :)

had craving for dessert so ordered the 5 piece dunowad "ice-cream" thingy for which i was OBVIOUSLY TOO OPTIMISTIC ABT becos they were 50cent-coinsized each. =/ totally -______________- but fighting over food is fun :D especially when its spastic enuff to be fighting over such tiny pieces of desserts tt cost so much yet taste so little :] yeah im all for food fights!!!!

morning i was still thinking abt whether to cancel both jamming sessions cos was feeling really groggy from my flu and it seemed like fever's coming too.. but LUCKILY i didnt cancel cos well der reli isnt much time left and secondly, jamming was fun!!! :D

tried anaki records with skyler today. nice place nice sound quite gd service. :))) maybe we'll use that place in future. haha well still got fourtones to contemplate too but, we'll see how. :)

the place was gd and it made my flute sound nice. but im sure de tone isnt that great so i'll work on it more (hopefully. i haf 2weeks =x) come to think of it, im less than a mth away from my next exam ARGH why does time fly by so quickly. in any case, i nid to buck up on my jap my flute AND my dear god knows which according to yirun is kinda flat. alrighty. many many things to do...

T.T ITS MINE!!! omg how cld i have just LEFT IT THERE??!?! =/ gd thing de table was still occupied by ntusb ppl... if not i can just say byebye to W660i :((( and today, i just left the gadget sitting happily on de couch and i left de jamming room while another band went in. only realised my phone's still in there when i wanted to check my calendar. GARRRR xinyi u sotong be more careful with ur phone can!!! but den again, i think im super fateless with sony ericsson cos i dropped my phone MANY MANY times. my old nokia i din even drop it so many times in its whole life of 2yrs loh. -________- haisssss.

well anw, had a superbly filling and satisfying dinner at hoshi restaurant. SO SUPER YUMMY~~!!!!! haha loved my huge huge set cos it made me VERY FULL AND VERY CONTENTED. i oni had baos de whole day loh!!! :(((( finally a proper meal. muahahahaha! XD lols. was kinda ex though.. if im not wrong, more ex den waraku. but heck lah i was FREAKING hungry. haha well. happy moms' day to my mom i hope! :)))

anyhoo, went to town to meet ahwen for SHOPPING!!!! *mimicks white chicks action* lols. her chan joined us too. had omu rice dinner!! haha was super lol cos they acheli din reli wanna eat. so i ordered my curry omu rice. den chan kena tempted but peiwen still hung on to her FOCACCIA BREAD WITH LOTSA MAYO. but in de end with 2 curry rice-s surrounding her peiwen just gave in to the AROMA and abandoned her half-eaten VERY VERY HARD bread and went for curry omu rice instead. even the auntie was laughing at us 3 ordering the same thing. lols. OMU RICE ROCKS.

but de eat 3/4 den will feel full thingy is quite universal. hmm.. such an enigma.

anw, went to shop at paragon and den far east after tt. laughed almost all de way lah damn funny *suck in air laughter* LOLLL. anw, bought a pair of shoes and a belt and a VERY CHAR BO top. lol its like the first time i ever bought sth SO girly i cant even believe i acheli bought it. did i reli buy that????? *checks shopping bags* ok fine i did. hope i dun just keep it in one corner.. shopped until all de shops close so bobian left. haha well gotta come back home to study for tmr's test anw.. and tmr's another loooong day!! jamming with skyler tmr.. i reli pray very hard that everything will go well for this gig. its so scary to feel so unprepared!!! its scary how someone can chat with u one day, and be gone a few days later.. its only been the first half of the year and many many things have happened. well there are happy moments, but somehow the bad ones just seem to override them a little too much. :( well i can just hope that things will turn for the better, right?

nth much to blog abt recently. have been otaku-ing a lot though. lols. and im morphing into a housewife (or to put it not-so-nicely, a maid) from all the errands im running for my mom. buying meals, cleaning the hse, doing all the laundry, walking to and fro getting her de things she wants from the kitchen, bringing her to physiotherapy at sgh, MAKING SURE she does physio at home too (i detected some skiving off on her part. bad mummy >=( )..... garr. reli bao ka liao. i daresay at this point of time when all these "responsibilities" are on me, that i realised i've been reli enjoying life quite a lot. kudos to all the moms in the world!

exam stresses are over but here comes the newfound stress for the upcoming gig. my speedmaster is damn dead and pls pls PLEASE cedric dun ask me sing de WHOLE song lah can. i noe u vry zai one sure can do it!!! :D i shall pray and hope that he can reli do it. lols.

and my god knows.... ARGH. im not even sure abt it myslf. lidat how to cfm with the rest???? grrrrrr. xinyi you really suck.

annnnd not to mention that bugging issue.... rah. dun wanna think. think abt it also duno shld feel happy or sad. so, i wont think. nor will i speak abt it to my frens again becos i suppose they're pretty bored with the topic alr also. ohwells. we'll see how the chapter proceeds.
