was at orchard near midnight today.. walked past paragon and saw this trio performing outside the mall. a pianist/keyboardist, double bassist, and a drummer playing jazz music. yes and i mean m u s i c. its one of de best street performances i've ever heard =] i love their style. i love the groove of the piano. i love the feel of the double bass. and i love the strokes of the drums and of cos that "jazz" feel. and his drum solos and volume control totally rock too =)) the music played was just soooo ______ (fill in de blank. i duno. addictive?) i just wanted to stay der throughout. well we did lah. haha yup.. its just a kind of enjoyment to listen to them. they're good =)

woohooo fantastic 2 days straight! haha went for jcode 004 ytd! =D was impressed by hellvenx's guitarist.. cool! nice techniques! and he has de charm whn he plays. hahaa yeah tts gd eh =] and gethsemane just totally rocks! lol. love their stage presence, music, vocals.. it was just reli enjoyable to watch them perform! =D haha yeah keep it up eh? =)

went to eat dinner with pw izu tim and his fren after tt.. lol dinner was freaking funny. wad with the msian accents from izu and the cat story re-enacted by tim in CHINESE. hahaah he speak chi is damn funny one ok. lols. anw... all of us except pw were all mad cos we impromptu decided to go jamming after dinner! hahaha sot ki.. yeah so we just went to tiet studio to jam for 1 hr =PpP well de studio aint de best and we didnt sound vry gd too. well its just for de fun of it so its alright =]

and went to downtown east to meet my godfamily for chalet! hahaha went all de wae der in de end i slpt almost immediately upong reaching =X hehhh well anw its nice to meet up with them! =D

and kena cheated by my mom this morning. woke me up saying tt its 9am alr whn its only 7.30am -_-" okayyyy. and so i got up bright and early today. ate breakfast with them, den left while they went to escape themepark.. went to andrew's place again den after tt went for jamming.. today's jamming started off kinda shitty =X but made a tiny bit of progress lah in stage craft =) i lke de wae we end for rolling star! haha at least it looks better =]

went to eat dinner and headed to house of rock to see livevil's performance.. woooo enjoyed their performance! =D ok so der're 2 bands tt i lke now. other den my own one. wahaha =D

met up with peiwen chengwai and willy at cine.. haha so sorryyyy we're a bit late =P anw, it was reli nice to meet up with them again! haha the guys are finally out from ns for a while =] i miss their li siao-ness and super LAME jokes sia. haha yup so caught up on each other quite a bit while having lunch. hmm apparently army hasnt changed either of them AT ALL. they're still vry funny ppl. lols gd in a sense lah huh =P

and one significant thing tt i rmbred was tt my dearest ahbond gave me 2dollars worth of COINS in the form of 20cents, 10cents and even 5cents. -___-" tHaNks arR~~ hahah well i gave most of it to de 7-11 auntie after tt so still not tt bad lah =P went up to kbox and singing session FINALLY started! haha its been soooooo long since i sang chi songs =X

went to pj after tt to collect our As cert.. ahhhh de path to pj (all de way from de bus stop) is just SOOO NOSTALGIC! =( i seriously miss jc days and schooling alot.. i miss wearing pj uniform! i miss purposely crossing de road whn we see cars with the "L" (learning) sign in front! (HAHA its damn mean but, its fun you know~~ =PpP) i miss running along "sahara desert" after seeing the fat lady start closing de sch gate! i even miss the ah-neh saying "eh. ahli up ahli up! (hurry up hurry up)" whn we reach de gate! AHHH those were the days mann...

AND i also miss STUDYING bio chem and maths! and of cos mugging my life away in the sch library in the presence of the "great white shark".. lols. its so mad to admit this whn we're just grumbling abt it half a year ago... =( well i guess ppl just miss this kinda things after a while.. ohwells anw, collected the certs and stuff.. and i think de school graduation certificate folder is DAMN NICE! it looks damn professional and everything. haha so, im very proud to say, I HAVE OFFICIALLY GRADUATED FROM MY BELOVED PJC! =D lols ok im mad.

went to lot1 ate a bit and gina left after tt. hope to meet u soon again!! im gonna miss u lots gina =)) went to peiwen's hse to sit and stone a bit, den went to meet my mom... went to shangri la hotel for dinner buffet!! hahah ok u guys must be thinking im some rich kid or sth but im sorry to tell u that, NO IM NOT. my mom just happened to win 4D a few days back and wanted to treat ourselves to good food for a while. and so we went for dinner at tt heavenly place =] yayy i love mummy =))

and so dinner was totally horrifically F U L L. i was so full by de end of de 1+hr tt i cldnt breathe. ok tts not de main pt. de thing is, i love tt place a lot!! its lke de best designed restaurant i've been to.. vry stylish and nice! (haha yeah for de amt we paid, of cos lah) and de sashimi's de only one i've found so far tts comparable to my sakuraya!! yeah mann. long time nv eat sashimi tt tasted so WOW. ever since my last meal at sakuraya, i haven tasted such great sashimi! woooooo i love tt jap chef der =))

and so i ate abt 3 servings aka 15 slices of salmon sashimi. with 3 dishes of wasabi. yeah i love tt green stuff. it just rawks my tastebuds can. xD

and of cos, my mom's responsible for bringing in all de "shan1 zhen1 hai3 wei4" while mine is to bring in all de junk-aka-unhealthy-aka-desserts kinda food. haha yah those tiramisu lah, chocolate fondue lah, ice cream with a million flavours and toppings lah... haah yeah all from me. lols i just lke those kinda sweet food lah CAN. xP

and so we had a taxi fetch two very full ppl home =] hha wad a day sia.. spend so much! but its worth it lah =] 70bucks for good food, ambience, place, service, and a very good-looking manager. WAHAHA de bonus of de day sia.. and he smiled at me too. HA HA HA tonight sweet dreams liao. loL okokok i stop.

went to genting btwn 2nd and 4th june.. hehhh splurged a bit der lah =P well its a holiday u noe~ haha ok excuses. well its just tt u think everything's cheap cos its in ringgit. but acheli whn u convert it back to sgd its just normal price (or more ex =X) yeah well so anw, bought 3 tops, a pair of earrings, a bracelet, and ate to my hearts' content. de food is lke super expensive can. one normal bowl of wanton noodles costs lke 6 SGD. T.T liew made of gold sia.. and its not even nice loh. its only classed as "edible". by me. haha ok i shant be so mean =P

overall, the trip was quite ok. de bus journey to kl was quite comfortable. i almost slpt all de way der lah. de seats are reli nice =P anw, reached der 1st day didnt do much.. just some shopping, den went back to rest. 2nd day went to de outdoor theme park and took the rides which i havent took for a million years. space shot was VERY THIRLLING. esp de suspense whn u're high up der, not knowing whn de thing's gonna fall back down.. lol exciting exciting xD hahah de flying coaster was nice too. love it whn it turns 360degrees~ xD took some other rides, and den fried ice cream.. *yummm.* but kinda suay tt day lah. kept raining on and off. but luckily not just before my turn =S if not can faint sia.. de queues were so long =X

and went to shop again after a whole day at de theme park. yups so tts abt de 2 days. kinda short lah. but reli caught up on a lot of slp =P which is gd lah.. been kinda deprived of tt since duno when..

OMG so tts de guy i saw on tv!! =D hahaha ok i noe im slow as a snail but i did see tt guy appear in wo cai before and i was totally impressed. yah its those kinda totally catch my attention and my eyes dun even wanna divert from the tv screen kind of "impressed". didnt get his name tt time though, so didnt search on him =X well anw tts not de pt. saw his video for "rock on" too and it was just soooo nice and inspiring. and so i immediately asked to learn guitar from de alr-available teacher beside me =D hahaha yeah so guitar lesson 1 started ytd. and i duno whn is lesson 2. see how lah huh.. hahaa but its quite fun =D

and i had sucha hard time waking up tt pig in de morning. gotta use a vry wide variety of methods to pull tt girl up lah. wad with removing de pillow and bolster, turning on de alarm clock, giving false "fire! terrorist! police! flood!!!!" alarms, and manually pulling her up... liew used a lot of energy sia. alr vry bo lak from de no-food-since-10pm liao still gotta expend more energy into getting her to get up so we can go eat breakfast.. zzzz. maybe shld've forced her to treat me breakfast hor =P

haha alright. tts abt it lah.. drums today was FUN! new progress~ =)) but sian lah. next week yamaha holiday again. zzzzz ok so im left with one lesson for this course... hmm. im gonna miss it a lot =( hopefully i'll still haf time to continue after uni starts!


ok ppl im reli sorrie for de blogskin problem. de picture's gone somehow. so i guess i'll be changing one soon.. whn im free enuff =P well anw, have been kinda moody and flustered and busy recently..

my vet assistant job ended on wednesday =( well its not a very sad event (hehh my close frens will noe why..) but its not a very happy one either. i love the job and of cos de animals tt come with it. im gonna miss nemo and xiao b so much!! they've been reli great, entertaining companions. lol =P anw, der're new kittens up for adoption! they're all females, abt 3-4weeks old, cant reli eat on their own yet so u gotta force feed them abt 6times a day. our plan is to wait til they're 1.5mths old, den we vaccinate them and send them to spca.. but they're adopt-able now! as long u can feed them and stuff, and get dem down for their vax whn they're 1.5mths old =]

hmm did i mention i wanna get a keyboard? yah i noe i mention-ED tt lke mani months ago in january. and after 4mths of work, i still havent saved enuff for tt =( haix my bad. anw, anyone who wanna sell theirs can tell me.. i'll consider if de price is ok =] went keyboard-hunting with pw few days back and der's this medeli mc710 tts quite gd. and de package is gd too. 76-key keyboard, adaptor, pedal, cable and all for 400+ nia. quite a gd bargain.. =) heh but i dun reli lke de design and sound. so shall see how.. den went to ps yamaha and saw the dgx-220 whcih i totally fell in love with! functions are gd enuff for me, nice sound, nice design, 76-key.. BUT it costs a blardy 594bucks after discount. haix... can santa just drop a huge bag of sgd outside my door tmr? =( i reli wanna learn keyboard a lot.. and for tt to happen, i'll need a keyboard.

and tt goes de same for guitar. if only i win tt lucky draw.. haha but i guess dun think too much lah huh... this kinda thing not much hope one, sad to say.. =(

AND i reli miss playing my flute and de feeling of being in a symphonic band.. yeah. gonna get a flute so i'll get my skills back =] not gonna let those 6yrs of efforts go down de drain just lke tt! im gonna cont playing flute mann.. haha yeah. so it all goes back to the word "money" u see. SIAN. i hate money.

ok back to tuesday, de day i went keyboard-hunting with pw. lols we're both chattering a lot abt our bands. apparently she's quite happy in rayve! haha but some stuff... just hope she'll come to a decision tt she's happy with yah? =)) anw, went to watch spiderman3 at ps after tt. hehhh yeah i noe we're both slowpokes for watching whn de show's gonna end. BUT DUN BE CHEATED. tot going to end liao den not mani ppl will watch.. in de end?? bought 9.30pm tix arnd 8+ den "sorry, we're left with the 1st row" ...... fine wadever lah. so we just took it. =P

haha and so, de whole movie was tormenting with us having to slouch down de seats, stretch our neck muscles up, AND rotate our eyes up so we can at least watch de screen. grrr. "enjoy the movie" huh..... but nevertheless, movie's quite nice. and de session totally made us appreciate how nice ps's floor is. de only thing we wanted to do was to look downwards all de way after de movie. neck damn tired can. lols.

went to meet andrew, raymond and marc after tt to discuss some stuff... zzz discuss until 2+! damn tired. i offline-d long ago anw. =P and next day still got work (last day) so.. gd luck to me. heh but den things were alright lah. it was a nice last day =]

thursday. met ahbond, monster and yihui!!! =D miss them so much can!! haha yeah. went to marina for movie and lunch.. and settled on jack's place. den whn we sat down, we realised its 1.50pm. and our movie's at 2.20pm. AND we haven collected de tix. =| yeah so me and wl chiong-ed to gv to collect de tix, den went back.. just in time for soup. liew they're damn slow can. haha and requested for dessert 1st.. cos de steak's gonna take quite long. gd thing we made tt request. cos we didnt reli haf much time left =X and its de 1st time i ever ate so fast and hurriedly in a restaurant lke jack's place. not a gd feeling. lol

watched pirates of de caribbean 3 with them! =D yayy nice nice. haha and saw yirun and his cousin.. they were sitting at de other side. anw, left the girls and met yirun and tim for dinner. hehhh after much consideration, settled with suntec's pastamania, den left for jamming..

and so we're a bit late =P but anw, thurs' jamming was s h i t. initially still quite ok.. den somehow everyone just got low-er and low-er until de mood's just miserable lah.. yeah and tt sorta gave de green light for those bothering thoughts of mine to come back. so i sian-ed all de wae. so sorrie for singing so badly nd sian-ing so much during supper =( ohwells. just gotta hope for a next better jamming session...

and ytd's jamming kinda waste-time-waste-money. zzz. bad music, didnt reli do much, didnt progress at all, which in fact i think we even played worse den last time, everyone's not in gd mood, and some "politics" here and der. haix.. duno wads wrong. i reli hope things wont turn out badly yah? i reli miss de band spirit we had before de gig.. pls let all de gd things come back..

alright. and tmr's my genting trip. finally a holiday for me! =D haha just me and my dear mum. no outsiders allowed! lol initially asked pw along too.. but she cldnt make it. hmm nvm lah. family trips are nice too =] yup yup so hope i'll unwind a lot during de trip and return a happier xinyi! =D yeah have been kinda moody nowadays.. just a "down" phase of my life lah. hehs. it'll get over soon =]

oh and before i forget, D'RebirthX 's gig videos are up on youtube! =D its under de user "RebirthX". anw, its a very sad thing but our best song, glamourous sky wasnt recorded down by jane cos her cam died during tt song. ahhhh so if anyone has or knows of anyone who has the video of D'RebirthX 's glamourous sky pls tell us!! we're reli looking forward to watching it. =]

anw think i look lke some clown on stage lah but wadever. i dun care. its over alr. i'll improve next time ok. yeah so pls go ahead and laugh at me for all u wan. but anw, i think my band did quite ok for de gig =) sound-wise, image-wise, think we're quite alright. it wasnt our best, but it'll do for a 1st performance =) yayyy we rock. hahaa =P
