still feeling kinda broken..

i need to stop ruminating.

why must something always happen before my exams??

hmm i realised i hadnt been blogging abt my life's happenings for quite some time :( looking at how short-termed my memory is, at the rate im going im gonna have nth to look back on when i grow old!! >.<

i dont even know where i left off.
i just know that, EXAMS ARE COMING AND I FEEL SO DEAD.
the crazy schedule i planned for myself is gonna tax my poor brain to the max in these 3 wks so that i can finish revision on time and die in 4 consecutive days of exams.

its gd to end exams early and have a slightly longer holiday but its not that gd to have all my papers straight in a row. and becos i end so early, THERE WILL BE NO ONE TO ENJOY HOLS AND PLAY WITH ME :(:( everyone's gonna be still studying. i'll just hibernate and wait for them loh :(



anw, back to the point of not knowing where i left off cos my mind's been too boggled by exam preparation, well, life hasnt been thAt bad lah. (thanks to wise old freddie who reminded us abt positive reframing after lect tt day~~~ hahaha)

although i was informed tt jap final paper will include tihs composition writing section at the end (omg) and i suddenly have revision hw to fit into my already-tight schedule, jap class had really been fun the whole semester and i really love my very-interesting sensei who shares so much abt japanese culture with us and makes lessons super fun and interesting! and i've already s/u-ed so i shldnt worry too much too. :)

last lect of hp801 on mon evening, and yay im so glad i recorded the 2nd half of the lect where the exam tips were given cos the lecturer really said too much for us to copy down. and yay its the last lect! no more evening classes and feeling guilty abt not going~~ (ok fine i wasnt VERY guilty abt not going) jingxiu was telling me, how come u s/u jap then u go for every lesson, then this one (hp801) u nv s/u but u dont go at all. hahaha tts quite a point. but haiyah, evening lesson leh!! wait until 530pm so that i can go home at 830pm??? no no~~

but its not like i skipped every lesson lah. i went for first one, attended the first half for "a few", and i went for the last one for tips.

okayyy pls let me do well somehow lol.


and although trauma psy was terrible cos freddie's trying to cram in like SIX LECTURES into the final 6hrs of class - sigh. - its still been fun attending his classes cos he's just one of the most entertaining profs around and he has so many interesting stories to share! it'll be the stories we rmbr more rather than the lecture content mannn lol. if he's my grandfather i think i'll be quite a happy grandchild :D hahahah. another wonderful prof from psy! XD

and im glad tt among alllll these stresses coming from sch, i still have my friends and mel who provided quite a lot of reprieve~~ thanks for bringing laughter into my stressful life! i hope i brought some smiles to u all and contributed to destressing too~ and thank u siping for the random hug after trauma lect! lols. it was really random. we were waiting for friends to finish asking the prof some qns and she just suddenly hugged me haha. but WE ARE NOT LESBIANS dont anyhow think. having friends ard to support each other in times of stress is really nice! :)

dinners with my dear after classes were also gd for stress relief~ although seeing him alr takes half the stress away (hehe), the food made things better! gd food makes ppl happier and when u're happier u can study better too! yay! :D

not sure if i'll still have time to blog soon~ but everyone jiayou for exams k!!!!! 3 weeks. just 3 weeks!!! gambatte!!





i love having my girls around me :)

really glad that i got to meet simin woeilin and weijie today. i missed u girls so much!!! although it wasnt like daaaaamn long since the last time we met, it still felt like i'd been deprived of ur "aura"-s for eons :)) thank u for bringing some craziness into my monotonous week! u girls brightened up my day A LOT :)

i really wish i have a sister to hug right now.


it was kinda rushed but the trip back to YC and meeting our counsellees again was, quite a nice one :) its the first time we went back since they renovated the place! the office's so spacious now :) and its really lovely when we're greeted with happy smiles and exclamations from the staff! i totally miss being in that environment :) good to see everyone looking gd, and the GP youths finally "graduating" from their 6-month program. hope they'll stay clear of whatever placed them in GP in the first place and take gd care of themselves! :)

and of cos, really happy to be seeing long-lost joy and gina too :):) sad that papa cldnt make it today! but im sure we'll all meet up again soon after exams :)

the inevitable feeling of happiness and warmth when someone u love prepares breakfast for u :) even if its just a simple half-boiled egg and spread bread, its still so full of LOVE XD

been having this sharp pain (similar to the pain u get when u swallow a fish bone accidentally) on the left side of my throat for abt 4 days so my mom forced brought me to the doctor. turns out the culprits were 2 ulcers in my throat (ouch and yucks) and apparently the root problem was my sinus. cant breathe properly at night, use more of mouth to breathe, mouth becomes dry, easy to get ulcers and sore throats and throat inflammation. dont slp well, dont feel well rested, always feel lethargic in the day. check all of that mann -.- maybe tts why i alw get sore throat... rahhh. but at least now i know sinus is kinda affecting my life :( and getting ulcers in ur throat is not funnnn :( ulcers pls heal soon~~ unable to apply medicine on the ulcer so i was prescribed antibiotics instead. the pill super big loh! i hope i wont choke on it and die. non-drowsy med for blocked nose was also given to help ease my breathing a bit.. but did i mention? i've got a tolerance to the non-drowsy effect cos i took too much non-drowsy flu med last time so now non-drowsy is still kidna drowsy for me.. which means i cant take the med in the day or maybe even at nite if i have sth impt the next morning. cos i'll still feel the, u know, irritating blur-blur aftereffects =/ rawrsssss so ma fan!!! someone invent an elixir pleaseeeee. X(




i feel really thankful that i have u by my side.
thank u for being with me :)

celebrated shiying's bday on friday at old-school ginza mee-hoon-kuey restaurant!!! :D we used to always go there for lunch/dinner after our band pracs in our sec sch days~~ and always ordered mee hoon kuey and guo tie!! woohooo! it was really like reliving those days again :):) nostalgicccc~!

yayy another concert over! :D

am happy that the project's finally over and we can all have a breather now after the hectic schedules for consecutive weeks~ but sometimes the band songs just pop up in my head again and makes me miss playing those pieces :P lol. 职业病???

on a personal note, im happy that i finally plucked up the courage to try a solo this time round! its an achievement cos i've nv dared to play any solos for concert.... hahahaha. but yay i finally played one! hope i didnt sound like i totally fit into the halloween mood.. :P wasnt the best but im glad i didnt break down or suffer from severe anxiety like i always do in band room! >.< its like whenever we start approaching page 4 (thats where my solo is), my heart will beat faster and faster and no matter how much i practiced i'll still sound crappy!!! horribly sad feeling. but thankfully my nerves were not that bad during the actual! but yah its all over le and i was really relieved once tt piece was over~ hahaha. many thanks to chee weng and you wei for the guidances tooo! :D

and im super happy to be playing another concert with my favouritest frens again! :D euflomba and my crazy freshies who nv fail to make us laugh! hahaha. they're the ones who make tiring practices fun mann~ :):)
