headed to my cousin's place for a family gathering on the last day of cny and to lou hei! :D haha baby chloe is taller now! and still super cute XD she's now starting to grab things and she's reaaaally gd at grabbing angbaos! LOL. once she take means point of no return u cant snatch back from her already~ haha. think she loves bright colours. and somehow when i watch her entertain herself i cant help thinking in developmental psychology ways >.< is this what they call 职业病??? theories of the ventral pathway and developmental stage and attachment style all just keep popping up in my mind as i watch my cute little niece! RAHH. so. not. enjoyable.

didnt neglect my niece and nehpew though! :) they're so gd with words now. i dont rmbr even knowing the phrase "oh my god" when i watch movies at the age of 10 and there my nephew was, exclaiming ohmygoddd when the plane in the show crashed with another and created a blast.

but they're such lovable kids! the way they tell u about the story the comic is talking about in their own imaginative ways, the way they suddenly run towards u just to give u a hug, and even the way they say a sincere "thank you" when u give them kinder surprise, its just so sweet! i guess its the innocence that draws ppl to kids bah :)

and since im on the kids topic, another cute kid i met this cny was denise's son!! yes emerson ur long-lost classmate has a very adorable son!! XD fyi, its really a small small world. my bassist was classmates with my childhood friend!!! DDDDD: yeah tt was exactly the expression on my face when i found out haha. but anyway, brayden's super cute! totally is just photostat-ed from his mother lah look damn alike! next time sure mesmerize all the girls with those beautiful eyes~~ ;)

i rmbr tt time we were playing lego with him, and there were those lego ppl who rode lego motorcycles and helicopters etc, and there brayden was, taking out all their helmets.

even though the happy stuff were mainly in the evening after a morning of headache-inducing midterms, a noon of extreme sleepiness and disturbed slumber while waiting for the annoying 5.30pm lecture and subsequently suffering an hour of hunger waiting for karen and siping to finish their PHP program (lol)..... my day really ended off well :) and tts wads important! still being happy in the end woohooo! XD

hahaha. a whole week of mugging has kinda taken its toll again..

even though there's this looming sore throat building up but I DONT CARE its like my first proper good dinner in a long long time!! doesnt matter whether my spaghetti comes in hot plate cold plate normal plate or no plate im just damn hungry and crazily craving for pasta!! XD XD hahaha. jingpok's alfredo was yum yum too and sipok's mozzarella chicken is DAAAMN NICE with melted cheese over the sinfully-fried chicken! sarah offered us her potato wedges so i kindly took also 0=) den i rmbred finishing off 2 packets of fries with tj before my lecture...... OMGGG i better drink pi pa gao tonight.

but it was really nice eating so many things :)))) food makes me sooooo happyyy!! XD

we're all like ooh-ing and ahh-ing at all the stuff sold at stationery island! UBER PRETTY!!! i wldnt mind working in the shop for one day if it means i can keep a sample of any one of the items :D even if its like a tiny stamp or sticker~~ ehh dont 小看 the stickers they're damn expensive one kay! lol.

anw, today should be really happy, starting with a sumptuous lunch treat from my boss, travelling back to sch for band and to play my flute even if its for a really short while, and subsequently going to youwei's hse to bai nian and to chillax with my bandmates on a sat evening. i dont know how i can feel so moody now. it shouldnt be this way, because i truly enjoyed my evening, from the moment i stepped into bandroom all the way til 11pm when i left his house after an entire night of eating singing laughing and wii-ing. how the hell is it reasonable tt i feel moody after all these??

had an impromptu meet-up with yirun and emerson after tt, cos our poor drummer will be back in camp very soon again, and we might not get to celebrate his birthday for him in time.. hopefully he'll get his freedom back soon! :)

mine has been a rather boring one, and it just seems to be getting worse every year -.-
for one thing, i didnt get to play ban lak at all this year. not fun oneeee! >.<
but its not just that lah. just find cny kinda monotonous now compared to last time where as kids we really looked forward to donning on new clothes and visiting relatives from house to house and the new year wishes really felt like they're sincere and from the heart. not meaning to say people are giving meaningless wishings now also lah just... u know what i mean.

maybe u could feel it already. im just feeling very sian and -____- right now.. perhaps i got up on the wrong side of the bed? or is it cos of the bad sleep i had? the shoulder-ache? the hot weather? the no-appetite "syndrome" i've been having recently?

cant believe the 4-day break is ending soon. even though its still officially cny, it just means going back to facing ur projects and readings and deadlines all over again..... i hate this :(

its really been a very :))) day for me! with the stresses of m9 gone, and meet-ups with my fav psych mates and ntmb mates, it really made me feel like a flower in bloom again haha! who says i need to take a course in positive psychology to be happy! all i need are such friends who make my day and take my troubles away~~ ^.^ *awww i know u feel so touched by this sentence hahaha! :P*
