Project BreakOut Day!!!!!

its finally over. phew. haha met skyler at boon keng at 1230++ for soundcheck but turns out we were early. like, very early. so went to have lunch at hawker first and went back.... soundcheck started at 3pm in de end -.-" ok i admit i wasnt reli happy with tt huge delay and de a-little-rushed soundcheck for us cos der were many bands after us and der wasnt much time left before gig officially starts.. didnt get to try out backup vocals mic and stuff so... well anw, settled dressing stuff at tim's place after soundcheck. thank u so much peiwen!! for being my "temp image consultant" and lending me ur necklace and blouse :)) arigato gozaimashita!

back to kallang cc for gig after tt.. hurrrr de stress and omg-wad-if-i-totally-cmi!! levels for me were like THIS high while we're in de waiting room and listening to oriental couch's performance. but duno why i felt nth whn i stepped out into the stage and start speaking. haa ok i guess its reli prob some psychological pre-performance thingy..

anw, think skyler's performance was okay. it was definitely not our best :( in fact, i think ytd's jamming was much better! haa ok maybe its cos der's lesser stress and stuff but yah, music-wise, ytd was better. anyhoo for today, we screwd up a little in one way or another but i guess we managed to salvage the situation in time and scrape a "general pass" for our 5 songs. good job guys. lets continue to jiayou! :D

and thnx to lijein for coming down to support skyler today!! :D:D it was nice meeting u after SO DAMN LONG. haha hope u enjoyed the performances! and lets meet up again real soon so i can pass u de japan gifts ok?? :)))

all in all, im most satisfised with RazzlePlay's performance :))) maybe it was a little pop for this jrock gig but i did enjoy their music a lot! esp the vocals :] was kinda sleepy towards de end of de gig though.. guess everyone's tired in some way. and i din slp vry well de nite before -.- wad with all those clothes not settled thingy and my throat not tt well plus a lot of phlegm thingy (i woke up with MORE phlegm. ugh. imagine the horror!!)... yeah but gig ended nice and well, and we went to de mac tt everyone else went to (lol) and stayed der for lke.. 3hrs+?? i duno how long liao. it seemed to be REALLY long though. esp when they started on the ns topic... peiwen and i (and i guess phoebe too) were lke zZzzz soon after.. =x

alright so gig's finally over. one event down! now i can finally TRUELY enjoy the remaining 2weeks of my hols before another sem starts :)) KBOX!! CLUBBING!! ANYTHING!!!!!!

just read tim's blog. hmm maybe i shld make a list of wad 2007 was like for me too. well u dun reli haf much chance to look back on the year tt's just gone by rite?

2007 has been a generally terrific year for me! :D

first of all, it spelt the start of my ONCE IN A LIFETIME 8-month holiday which started in dec 06. spent a really nice dec'06 working in taka as a gift wrapper with peiwen and simin and made new frens! :D we havent been contacting each other for really long but it was still great working with this bunch. and it was der tt i met someone who's bday falls on the same day as me! pretty pretty jenibelle ^^ it was reli nice receiving the bday surprise from the other gws tt dec :)) and of cos, the "feel" of working with ppl abt the same age as u.. it just strikes off the "superior-subordinate senior-junior" thingy lah u noe. haha :P

after tt i found a job tt i believe almost any of my frens will kill for: vet assistant! :D it was like a dream come true to work in a vet clinic! i wasnt a reli gd one being the sotong-clumsy me but i did learn a lot from the 4mths there. im reli grateful to my boss for giving me (someone with zero experience in this area) the opportunity to work with them when he cld've just hired another permanent assistant.. they prob wont read this but still, thanks a whole lot, joyous vet! :)))

i duno wad came over me and wad i was thinking when i joined soft forum, browsed thru the "musicians wanted" section, clicked on a random "vocalist wanted" thread, and emailed someone i din noe exist in this world tt i wld like to join his/her band as a vocalist. a week later, voila! im in. i still haf no idea how i got in becos der wasnt a supposed-audition, and how i even dared to meet up with 4 strangers to wad, jam?? i din even noe wad jamming was supposed to be like.

*god this is getting VERY nostalgic*

anyhoo, my band life started officially in april'07 and it was reli sth i nv regretted getting into :)) maybe i was unlucky to haf "funny things" happening (bahh u noe wad i mean) in my 1st band but i think i was more of very-lucky to get 4 bandmates whom i can click well with :)) i absolutely and solemnly wish that this will continue well into 2008, and maybe into the further future ahead. to skyler, ganpai! xD

2007 also marked the start of uni life :)) im glad i got into the course of my very first choice! woots psychology rocks. haha and orientation was great! got to noe many nice ppl and seniors who've helped me quite a bit :)

but uni life takes a bit of getting used to.. i rmbr adapting really badly in the first few weeks! or was it a month?? x( well anw tt phase's over and im ok with uni life alr. hope sem2 will be better! :)

and of cos, my latest trip to osaka and kobe with NTUSB! :D and the memorable exchange with kinki university's band and kobe symphonic band. its definitely one of the best experiences ever :)) the trip knocked a huge hole into my bank acct but i guess its worth all the fun, sightseeing, weather, bonds, and music made. oh. and the 1st bday i got to spend in a foreign land plus all the great food i'll nv forget i had :) it has definitely been the most memorable december ever! :D

alright so i guess its been a more-than-terrific 2007 for me. hope it was just as well for all of u out there! :))


back from japan!!! woots it was a really fun trip :)) when i was der i felt super grateful towards the english and chinese languages becos its just SO HARD to communicate with the ppl der! when u finally meet a waiter/cashier/whoever who can speak eng/chi it was lke "OMG YES U CAN SPEAK A LANGUAGE I UNDERSTAND!" otherwise its all lke "a chicken trying to talk to a duck" accompanied by an extensive use of sign language..

not to mention the really good customer service they provide der. those ppl are mostly reli polite and nice even towards tourists who dun understand much of their language :]

but whn i came back im EVEN MORE GRATEFUL for the cool weather over there in japan!!! its lke so friggin hot here in s'pore can!!! *sweats profusely* grrr. i miss the sweatless week i had :( (yes even the very cold wind tt numbs my face, fingers and toes in 5 seconds flat) but then again, we gotta appreciate the amt of moisture we have in s'pore cos its damn dry over der! peeling and itching lke duno wad.. hopefully those will go away soon now tt im back in this humid place~

ok enuff of gratitude. shall just summarise a bit abt my 6day-japan trip :] here goes.

Day 1
arrival at kansai airport!! it was reli great cos the weather's DAMN GOOD!! went for sightseeing at osaka tower den osaka castle and shinsaibashi shopping district. WOOOO nice scenery with all the trees in their winter conditions and of cos, the best temperature to be in. osaka castle was a total classic. imagine the "gu dai" era with all those walls built thick and ready for battle, and all tt. as a sidenote though, the pigeons and sparrows der are REALLY FLESHY. after seeing them i just wonder if singapore birds are malnourished or sth =x

ohwell anw, had a vry nice traditional japanese lunch outside osaka castle!!! woots. vry filling and vry picture-perfect. hahaa its reli all the packaging and aroma tt boosts ur appetite :)

went to shinsaibashi for shopping and its N-I-C-E!! had my first authentic japanese tako yaki der~ i guess its not de best but, its just more "real" in a sense yah? lol. bought some cosmetics der too cos they're quite hua suan. wanted to get boots too cos they're lke oni 30+sgd???? but didnt lah heh. not much time for shopping also. and anw all the clothes are lke winter wear??? hurrr yah buy back and wear in sg for personal sauna sia... haix. but still, winter fashion is absolutely *two thumbs up*! at least tts the case in japan :))) walking on the streets in our kinda-obiang sporean clothes and in the midst of all the trendy jappies der just makes us feel lke we shld be condemned to the cold palace for ZERO FASHION SENSE. if u wear boots in spore, u're a little out. if u dun wear boots in japan, u're DAMN out. haix. sg reli nids to up the fashion level!

checked into hankyu hotel after tt and roamed arnd the nearby area. had supper at this nice restaurant with a vry nice chinese-speaking waitress. lol seeing someone who speaks chi was close to seeing god. anw, ordered ramen and gyoza! yum yumm!!!! it was de best gyoza ever~~ haha one bad thing though. EVERYONE SMOKES. grrr. even in the restaurant which is lke SO unhygienic. but i guess its sucha norm der tt everyone's just gotten used to it (or has even joined in).

Day 2
went for shopping at the big building just opp the hotel: yodobashi-umeda :)) and it was in this place tt i bought the most worthwhile thing in the whole trip: KORG TUNER AND METRONOME. wooots. haf been wanting to get one but heard such devices with dual function are expensive (abt 110sgd) but it was only sold for 46sgd der!! yup so my whole section swept up all the tuners on the shelf. lol. vry worthwhile!!

went to toys section and got a sylvannian family character from a capsule machine and another playground set to go with it. all for monster! :] haha thing is, its really cheap!! i got the 13sgd set for only 5+sgd. hoho. if u're a sylvannian family lover, i strongly recommend tt u go japan to get ur full sylvannian set or wadever. who will wanna get them in sg!! SO EX. anw, lotsa new tamagotchi models! haha din get any though cos i think i'll just throw it aside once im bored with it =x

went to haf sashimi at a restaurant upstairs after tt! de waiter speaks chi but it was kinda bad so... and on top of tt der are lke VERY few pictures for us to refer to!! argh. so de ordering thing took lke 15mins -_-" but it was all done in the end and yum, the meal was very good :))

had exchange with kinki uni band after tt! :D i finally got to see a japanese band perform live!! they're reli good~ enjoyed the performance lots! haha they even played this welcome thingy for us specially :] had dinner with them and interacted a little with the flute section der! de piccoloist was reli hospitable and nice. interacted with her the most. haha and i guess she knew it was probably kinda cold for us so she gave me her heatpack (hand warmer)! so nice of her. im SO not throwing it away even though its lke not working anymore. haha :))

back to hotel after tt! my entire section gathered in me and felicia's room and talk cock. den all of a sudden someone knocked at the door and walked in a with a bday cake! lol so nice~~ hahaha also sang the song for felicia cos her bday's round the corner too! :D it was a superbly sinful chocolate tiramisu-like cake. made in japan!!!! lol. its SO NICE to be celebrating my bday in japan with all the xmas lights and nice buddies arnd me :)) yay im finally 19!!! my last "teen" year liao.. but im still the youngest in the section so its ok. IM STILL YOUNG. WAHAHHA. :P

went to the convenient store opp to get poker cards.. it was just a vry short trip so we went out in slippers LOL. super "high" loh. but ok lah. it was just vry cooling for the feet at abt 12degrees. haven numb yet. lol. went back and played some card games for a while. everyone was kinda ko alr so ended the day "early".

Day 3
UNIVERSAL STUDIOS!!! :D:D:D took the subway der and it was REALLY BEAUTIFUL with all the xmas decos and nice shops and souvenirs and.. aiyah everything was nice! hahah didnt reli take a lot of rides though cos the waiting time was damn long! so only took the roller coaster ride, spiderman simulator and shrek simulator.. well it was just the BEST roller coaster i've ever taken!!! on top of tt it was also cold so we're lke half frozen when we got off. lol. the seats are special too! they haf this sound system thingy tt "blasts" music (u can choose rock/hip hop/jpop/wadever) when u're on the ride so u cant even hear urslf screaming. lol. fun fun fun ;) and i nv knew simulators can be this great. the effects for spiderman are just the best mann. i was sitting in the front row and tt stupid green goblin just seemed to come SO close to me. lol. nice nice :]

left universal studios early and went to osaka aquarium with my section! hahah took the subway again on our own.. =S super scary!! the lines were lke so complicated and everything was in japanese! the only eng words were the names of the stations which werent of much help. it was lke breaking da vinci code but thank god der was felicia and anneson!! haha managed to get to de correct station in the end... but when we went der, it was closed alr!!!!!!!!!!! ARGHHH. wad a waste. so we just took photos. haix.. so if ppl ask.. "we went. but we didnt go in." lol. kinda wasted the trption fees also but, it was just a feat conquering the subway itself lah. lol.

went for supper and had wad osaka was famous for: okonomoyaki!! wooooo it was VERY VERY yummy and vry filling!!!! i just wish i can haf another one rite now... haha nvm i'll eat tt again next time i go der. FOR SURE :D

Day 4
checked out of hankyu and headed to kobe! went for sightseeing at the port tower, a shrine, and sake museum. haha the way japanese pray is reli interesting. hope the japanese god will bless all of us here! thru his singapore branch or sth lah lol. and bought 2 bottles of sake home!!! once again, they're reli cheap. heard from de tour guide tt one bottle can sell up to 46sgd (duno if its true) and we got it for 6.50 only! woots. aiyah just buy lah. authentic one :P

checked into b kobe hotel and went for dinner.. yaki niku!!! the beef is just so much nicer than the chicken~ lol and der was this waitress who was SUPER pretty. haha heard many ppl took photos with her. lol.

went for exchange with kobe symphonic band after tt. so honoured to be able to play under the baton of one of our pieces' arrangers! :) and of cos, it feels damn "professional" to like practise one day only and then perform 24hrs later. lol. well anw, de prac was quite ok. went for supper after tt.. roamed arnd the new street we're in and had supper at mcdonald's! LOL. its only a little diff from sg's. they have McPork! lol. and this huge burger called mega tamago. haha khai khong tried tt and amazingly he was able to fit it into his mouth! hahah interesting macs. lol

Day 5
concert day!! everything was great EXCEPT FOR THE DAMNED COURT SHOES >=( ban them all!! grrr. bus cldnt enter the small street so we gotta walk a bit and ARGH my feet just hurt lke mad *throws court shoes away* performance was quite ok! kena interviewed by the emcee before our combined performance =x super scary can!!! haa but i hope i did ok. it got my heart pumping damn fast though =x

went back to hotel to change and headed for post-concert celebration with kobe band! woots. nice nice. vry filling dinner and i finally got to try asahi! haha not bad not bad. can be added to the "drinkable" list lah lol. kobe mbrs walked us back to our hotel after tt! and der were a few of our drunk mbrs which were quite entertaining. esp tt laughing guy. forgot wads his name. lol. wanted to haf kobe beef cos last day in jpn le!! BUT restaurants all close alr cos it was kinda late le.. ARGHHHH!!! my biggest regret!! >=( all kian joo's fault lah. *hahaha no lah :P*

walked arnd again and bought 2 mcpork burgers for the whole section to share cos we din haf any de other time. yum yum its nice!! hahaha haiyah why sg dun haf... =P den went to another convenient store beside our hotel and bought lotsa food back for sg relatives! :D den it was back to hotel for cupnoodle supper (:D), some tv, packing luggage, and some slp.

Day 6
last few hrs to enjoy the cool weather before we depart japan!! sad sad :(( was left with abt 10000yen still, so bought quite a lot of food at kansai airport. lol. de royce chocs were cheap can! and many other stuff also. haha yup den it was on board the plane, playing games, watching movies... and arrival in sg.

dad came to fetch me and i just talked on and on abt my japan trip. aiyah its still fresh in my mind lah. :P haha went home put down my luggage den left for simin's xmas party. woooo so nice to meet up with them again! haah passed them their presents and we had our gift exchange too.. lotsa photos too! hahah simin's hse is lke damn festive with her xmas tree and presents and lightings can. lol nicey :D didnt stay overnight cos i was super-KO by 1230am.. so simin fetched me home :)

but it ended off nicely. thanks a million to my dear skyler for jamming a happy bday song for me! :D haha initially it was only tim playing guitar and singing de song but halfway thru he forgot de guitar parts. lol. den yirun joined in and jarvis specially SANG de song! (wooo!) hahaha thank you guys!!! it was really nice :))))

oh and tim's bday present for me from japan. haha de cat's fur felt so real tt i felt lke i was carrying my "previous" pet cat!! nice nice :)) thank you!!

flying off in less than 24hrs. and im still packing my stuff. lol. hopefully everything will go smoothly whn im der! and (hur) i had flu today so RELI hopefully i'll be ok tmr whn i wake up so i'll at least leave sg in a healthy state and not worry my mom any further (u haf no idea how worried she is. lol)

went to get my performance clothes which is so last min i noe =x well anw got them, and went to ben&jerry's for some ice cream. ok im lke there AGAIN -.-" fei si wo. aiyah dun care. must be happy. hahaha alright. took some photos cos its been kinda long since we did tt :]

left arnd 6pm and went to meet aemi at the mindcafe! haha it was very nice to gather with them again and play lotsa LOL games lke... ok i duno de names of all de games but der was totem, jenga, taboo, jurassic sth... very exciting :D haha and it was reli nice of them to surprise the bday ppl (weijie, choonxin, meiting, sylvia and me!) with a cake and VERY LOVELY presents!!! reli appreciate the efforts they put into making the card (it was sth lke a mini photo collage for each of us) and yah, the calvin klein underwear is quite cute too. lol. had xmas gift exchange too! haah yup so it was a very happy nite for all of us~~ once again, thnx a million to my dear aemi!! the gathering, games and card totally made my day :))

one thing i wanna say though. the fish&chips kinda suck =x and apparently sylvia's and cx's chicken platter (or wadever its called) isnt tt yummy. but anyhoo de games and company were all great :) de ice cream and brownie dessert was quite gd though! but i oni ate lke a mouth cos i am NOT gonna get myslf a sore throat (hoho please please DUN lemmi get one at this time) or get myslf sick just before japan. i gotta stay healthy to beat the cold!! =x and the kah-hui-guaranteed AUTHENTIC strawberry shortcake was reli nice too :) maybe except the whipped cream parts which are to be avoided at all times. lol.

but hey, its still a very nice bday cake on top of a vry nice bday celebration ^^

celebrated my bday with gina and peiwen (mich????) on friday!! haha thnx gina for taking time out from ur very busy day to celebrate with me :)) had my bday meal at new york new york and yumm tt small little smoked salmon sandwich is nice and amazingly filling. haha swept all of gina and peiwen's leafy salads too cos peiwen finds them too bitter and gina cldnt finish them. but do not fear! xinyi is here! salads are my frens =D

thnx so much for the presents too! :)) splurged on another necklace on tt day too.. =x arghhh guilty. aiyah bday present for myslf lah *hehehe* :P

gina left early for touch rugby so me and pw walked arnd marina and suntec.. and decided to stone at ben&jerry's. lol. had banana royal fudge which peiwen initially rejected but in de end cldnt resist just watching me eat the VERY YUMMY ice cream and so joined in and even helped to finish up the last few chocolatey bits. haha we're so fattening up tgt.

had dinner with pw and chan at suntec den after tt we went to clarke quay to meet gina and cecilia for pubbing at brewerks! :] quite a nice place tt serves rather nice ASPARAGUS (pw: LOL) and garlic fries and fruitbrew. went home arnd 145am (so early!! :( ) cos gina gotta leave early.. but aiyah also gd lah der's band next morning..

band in morning and noon! haha combined sectionals was quite fun and, quick. collected the 2 band polo tees and pullover! OMG i like the pullover so much!! my very first hoodie :)))))))) and it seems so comfy to wear too~~ hahaha okay =x

went to jp meet my mom and headed to marina sq to get some last min winter wear stuff and for bday dinner!! wahahah. ate at jack's place (its lke the traditional fav haunt for our bday dinners) and had my vry nice steak~~ :D have been craving for beef for VERY LONG ok!!! hahaha and there was also a slice of bday cake for me. black forest! hahah fattening too but its ok its a bday cake! (haha ok wad kinda reason is tt) den i forced my parents to sing bday song for me cos they absolutely refuse to do so!! >=(( how can lidat. ur daughter's bday u noe!!!! hahahaa but in de end they sang along whn the waiter put the bday song track on. lol. my mom was nicer. she sang bday song in 3 languages. eng chi and canto. woots. thank u mum :)))

i seem to be blogging everyday. lol anw, had sectionals in de noon and full band in evening.. heeee learned some stuff today from tung hoe regarding tuning, training my ears and stuff. but i dun haf a tuner at home to prac with!! >=( think i'll get the korg one one day whn im richer and not eating grass.. haa and got 2 flute technique books today also. looks a bit cheem but nvm i'll try them bit by bit for the sake of improvement :] haha

feeling a bit more pro-band than usual :]

haa notice the change in the list of songs. 2 of which are my all-time favourites since sec sch: persis and virginia. virginia is reli sec sch standard but i still love the arrangement and stuff :))) de other 2 are just for reminiscence. jubilant overture being de 1st piece (i think) i played in sajccb and banja being pjcsb's syf choice piece. reminds me so much of the way the trumpets started off the clash notes so powerfully during the competition which sort of "motivated" de rest of the band (duno how to describe this. if u're in band i guess u'll probably understand? :]), me and sy's flute duet, henry's oboe solo, zoey's soprano sax solo.... and how she managed to hit the highest note during the comp which made the WHOLE band smile on the stage. lol. she sudd wasnt able to hit it whn we prac earlier on tt morning so whn she did during the comp, it was lke, phew!! haha guess we were all feeling anxious for her solo whn it was approaching.. but all's well in de end so tts great :)

anw, i happened to come across phantom of the opera too so, just added it in cos it consists of all the songs i love from tt show/musical/movie :)) listening to it makes me feel lke watching it again. haha i guess its a show tt can either bore ppl to death or be of good interest, esp to those who enjoy musicals. im glad i form part of the latter category :]

yups lots of memories back then.. i reli do miss jc band days! from playing in sa for 3 mths (which i thought was the best band i've ever played in. budden i went to pj and of cos pjcsb took over tt position of best wahaha =PpP) to playing in pj for 1.5years. it was all reli *thumbs up* i hope i'll haf a great exp with ntusb too! :)))


woke up at 730am and i am SO glad it wasnt raining (yet). yayness i can finally have my run :)) lol i feel so healthy. have been supper-ing and doing nth but sitting and stoning for many days!

also reg my subjs this morning.. hurr hopefully i'll get a nice elective this time round and the same one as wad jx gets also!! it sucks to be all alone in an elective and having no one to turn to whn u haf questions :(

well anyhoo tt stressful period of time has passed and it also rained in the noon so, perfect condition for slping~~~

band in de evening and bahhhhh today's tuning was reli bad!! hurr post-camp syndrome? ok not funny. hopefully we'll pick things up again on wed cos its also our last prac with oura..

haha im so happy to haf oura as our conductor :)) kinda lucky tt all the major conductors i was under were all nice. and whn i say major it is intended to include only ntmb's mr tay, pjcsb's ms chan and ntusb's mr oura, and to exclude "temps" such as masree and this other guy whose name i've forgotten.

ok back to oura. he's a vry cute conductor :) lol. had lunch with him also on 2nd day of camp and he was sharing with us some "stories" which were damn lol. and i guess his temperament's quite gd? he doesnt look lke those who will ever flare up.. haa i duno lah tt was just wad i felt after being under him for 3mths =x and of cos the things he say during band which can be quite funny. lke today's obaa-san, oba-san, one-san. lol. (pls pardon any spelling mistakes. i dun reli noe how to spell those!)

went to a nearby coffee shop to haf supper after band. again. haix der goes my morning run... but den again i was really hungry cos i oni had half a donut for dinner :( in fact i ate kinda little today. bad bad. haaa ok lotsa rationalisation taking place again. anws, ate zi char!! :D yum yum tt was a vry nice "top up" for my dinner. and de meal size was just nice ^^ good. im happy :)

**hoho but if all the suppers continue on......... garrr i dun even wanna think of it. lol. band is reli vry fattening!! x(

den anneson drove us to his area to take cab so its cheaper.. haha ok it was reli a lot cheaper for me. he dropped off youwei and victor on de way but whn youwei opened de door we heard the door scratch against the curb! =S okay no good. hopefully its not vry bad... =x

watching starawards and the part where they featured power station singing those old drama theme songs was so nostalgic! esp the "wo chi de qi ku" (theme song for "chu1 lu4") which me and peiwen sang after getting As results cos we're a little depressed LOL. anw, the songs are reli vry classic and yeah, they do make me appreciate these "old pros" a lot. 2 weeks back i was =] by dream fm at spop, and now its power station. haha sudd makes me feel old songs are much better than new ones... which i think are having lesser "power" and... arhhh duno how to say lah. lol.

anw, im finally home! =D finally break-camp in noon... haa ytd's post was a reli fast one =x this camp was de most unique thus far becos there're no early mornings (i mean 6am those kind), no PTs, not physically intensive at all, and even FATTENING. -_-" hurr yeah all the camps i went before are more towards the side of "torture camp", with lotsa PTs, knock-it-downs, and basically not-very-full meals. this one... garr its lke, sure fat one can!! after these 3 days think i gained quite some weight.. its been breakfast, band 2hrs, lunch 1.5hrs, band 3hrs, dinner 2hrs, band 3hrs, supper til late, den slp. ...... den u wake up and eat again, and de cycle repeats. no exercise at all cos we've been driving arnd for meals and the only "exercise" were lke warming up our instruments and moving our fingers. :| der was so much eating tt we're lke "huh eat again???" whn oura dismissed us for dinner. lol. AND it was more of a chalet than camp cos we've been staying over at felicia's castle. hoho. fattening december. fattening camp.

but anw, bonded a bit more with my section and other seniors thru this camp :))) mostly thru the suppers and meals. hahaha same frequency one indeed can laugh until siao. good good :D camp was mentally tiring but, it was nice to music all day and not worry abt asgs or hw AT ALL. muahahahaha. life rawks ;)

camp ended. time to exercise all those suppers away. 1st supper at nydc.. had pizza at lke, 12am??? -.-" but lke i said, it was nice bonding with flutes :))

band in evening tmr... haa its been a lot of practices these few weeks so i guess, i gotta push everything to after i return from japan? i haf 2weeks to enjoy before i get back to my books again :( but its ok. tiring but, enjoying it alr ^^


at felicia's hse now!!! her hse is so huge. her living room only pwn my entire hse liao. lol.

had a "taste" of chee weng's PSYCHOness today. no wonder they're trying to prevent me from reaching tt stage. hahaha he's reli SIAO one =x

and siaoing with my section is so fun. we're all quite of the same frequency ;) hshs band camp is seriously tiring... but its fun! :D wahahaha. ending tmr le.. and 3 days' break after tt! im so gonna hibernate for one day first. hurrr.

looking forward to the next jamming. it seems lke another 3 lightyears have passed and no jamming :(((((

ok 17th will come soon. and after tt it'll be japan!!! woots. december is just the bEst month in the whole year lah can~~

finally went to exchange sgd for yen today.. yeah great now my acct is REALLY NEGATIVE. minus 1400 for trip, minus 500 for expenses, minus 110 for music theory, minus 200 for shopping.... HUR. i am very broke indeed. no prize for guessing how many digits my acct's left with
anyhoo, came back in noon and prac vocals and flute den slpt a bit before going out again to meet monster and devil for MOVIE!!! yes im finally watching a movie after 8594792659 years!! woots. enchanted was reli great. everyone shld watch it!!! hahaahah and i esp love the chipmunk. he's lke SO CUTE!!!! esp whn he tries to enact a story to prince edward tt the evil witch's trying to kill princess shitwadshername. lol and simin has made the amazing discovery tt the guy starring as prince edward is the actor for cyclops in xmen and got reli excited over it.

ok fine he's reli quite shuai. =P haha enjoyed the whole movie!! maybe except the cockroaches part lah. LOL they're lke so eeeww can.

after movie went to imm (where simin parked her car) for dinner.. ate the healthy subway! heh cldnt finish my cookie but der's monster arnd so no worries. hahaha yup den ahbond drove us home after tt... first time take her car!!!! omggg. its lke,a first ride from one of my closest pals!! and we've finally come to the stage where frens can drive us arnd and stuff... haaaaaa ok fine i reached tt stage for quite some time alr but, this time its SIMIN driving!!!

today was the happiest day of my shopping life (which was totally stagnant ever since uni started) and i absolutely believe in the power of retail therapy. and the power of frens. (hahaha i'll give details later)

met gina early in the morning to help teach fun dance to her nie proj mates.. haha hopefully they still rmbr the moves! its not tt difficult mah rite?? =P went to city hall area to teach.. hoho 1st time do dance thingy der. lols. anw, gina and i took off our slippers during the dance and the soles of our feet were lke omgly BLACK at de end of de session!! grrr. didnt wanna dirty our slippers so we vry unglamly walked barefooted to the nearest toilet beside asian kitchen to wet-tissue off the yucks. hur hur. super duper diu lian but, no one noticed our feet at all during the barefeet trip so, not tt bad lah. hahaah =P

but it was still SO unglam.

ugh anyhoo, realised one of her nie mates is my sa 1st 3 mths flute section mate!!! OMG wad a small small world. hahaha had lunch with gina jasmine and meihui at gelare.. (lol reminds me of one of the guys sudd saying "its tuesday! eat at gelare!" which is so rhyming) vry full lunch cos had pasta and dessert and the 3 of them just put down their spoons halfway thru de banana split and left me to clear the remaining SUPER CALORIFIED ice cream and choc fudge and cream and waffle and banana off the not-so-small bowl. -.-" no more desserts this week xinyi >=(

rushed off to meet simin and woeilin for shopping!!! hahaha shopped at far east ONLY and i alr spent lke most of my remaining fortunes supposedly left for survival after returning from japan trip so i can reli prepare to eat bread and water whn i come back. yayness life rawks.

hey heck all tt!! life is about the living the PRESENT!! i totally enjoyed today! :D walking arnd all day with no aching feet, laughing so-very-frequently with the monster and the devil, buying new clothes, chatting and sharing and catching up on each other...

:)))))) i feel so blessed.

rest assured its mostly the company. shopping wld not be so fun w/o their laughters and occassional advice and even their presence :)

and reli thanks A LOT A LOT to devil and monster for helping me carry my bags and stuff whn i needed to try out clothes and for walking arnd with me the whole day with mainly only me shopping for stuff. lol. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! *big big huggg* monster is reli lke a boyfriend to me and devil HAHAHAHAHA esp whn we're at our last stop trying out the cardigans.. LOL. she was lke "okok u all slowly try i just sit here rest... kkk gimme all ur bags" hahahahaa so boyfriend-ish.

tot i was done with shopping den i saw someone on the street wearing sth similar to topshop long long spag and tt reminded me tt i wanted to get tt too. so we went to wisma. =PpP was kinda lucky cos they're not taking in anymore stocks for de spag and der was ONE LAST spag which is my size for me. not de colour tt i reli reli wanted but, yellow's quite nice too :))

all in all, it was a great shopping day ^^

but poor wallet. it was in a state of emergency lke just 3hrs into shopping...

aiyah money is meant to be spent. JUST BE HAPPY!!!!

went to meet skyler -jarvis for theory and dinner at shaw hse. den andrew started telling us ns stories and the VERY THRILLING ghost stories. lol. he's so gd at telling stories u noe. reli will say until u got the "feel" one. lols.

ok so tts another 12hrs out of home.. hope der'll be clubbing tmr. reli damn long nv go!!!! lol. but im looking forward to an absolute off-day where i can just slp and stone the whole day and just (my fav) PIG OUT. woots. life's great :)


holidays and there are many many REALLY MANY MANY things to do.

first 3 weeks jam packed with band prac and japan trip. whn i come back, hallelujah hols almost over. sobs :((

had band prac on sat til 5+, chionged home to slp 3hrs until 10+pm to meet don choonxing and james for supper at city hall.. zzz gotta report for scsm at 1am. blardy shit DAMN EARLY loh. well anw, ate macs and went to padang, and got stationed at east coast park.

at ecp it was reli kns cos initially i was deployed at point 1. den my leader came over said gotta re-deploy cos not enuff ppl or sth.. so i walked with her all de way back to de pond area (near de end of my sector which is v v v v far away) and whn i reached de last pt, she received a call tt those re-deployed ppl are not needed anymore so walked back again. ksjdfos;dnsdkfsdfklasdfjal its lke, initially alr walked to and forth twice den gotta walk back and forth again... and still gotta stand de whole morning. arghhhhhhhh !@$%&^$&#&#*%*#@

saw some familiar faces during the run. and of cos, the blacks who are always leading and who reached ecp at arnd 645am. zomg SO FAST. haa but expected lah huh. they lke, run duno how many miles eveyday or sth... and apparently whn one runner asks for the painkiller spray and others see it, a queue starts to form and before i noe it, its "sorry im out pls proceed to the next route marshal". and i think quite a lot of route marshals are alr out of de spray so, gd luck to those runners who reli nid it badly =x

well anw it was finally over arnd 11+am. reported back to padang, ate lunch (the free lunch was not bad acheli. lol) collected the 20bucks which doesnt go to me and left home for my long lost S L E E P.

tot i'll wake up at 9pm for dinner and maybe some tv but erm, apparently i just skipped over my alarm and slpt til morning and woke up just in time for a whole day of band. lol. yeah mann 17hrs of slp. long time no hibernate~ ;)

finally having de first break for myslf tmr! ok fine second =P shopping shopping YEAH i wanna buy so many clothes and of cos spend time with my beloved monster and devil. woots! xD

on top of all those band and ineedtimetoshopalso things, i still gotta plan my timetable for next sem, prepare for japan trip, get my flu vaccine, and erm some other quite-a-number of personal stuffs to settle. alright. time to multi-task!

oh and of cos, get enuff slp also =D which im gonna do soon. so pig-ish. and i've been eating a lot these 2 days and its only the START of hols!!! gods. time to squeeze in exercise too. arghhhh hols hols hols...
