thank you sooo much for the beautiful weekend dear. really enjoyed myself lots :)

was honestly kinda sad that we cldnt have the original plan of fri-sat-stayover at ur place and having almost 3 whole days to ourselves (my mum fell down on fri evening :(), but u turned everything ard and made my sat, which is also our actual 5th mth, a very very happy day for me :) seeing u at my door on sat noon was already enough to make my day! my mood was instantly lifted when i saw u, although the image was blur cos i didnt have my specs :P and i was really happy when u surprised me with the eclairs too~~~ heeeee. i just love all the little surprises u give me and all the efforts u put in to cheer me up when u know i was down :) thank u dear. weekend was really awesome, and was a good closure to our hols too. although there were irritable mosquito bites added to the picture, the pretty flowers and scenery at hortpark, yummylicious dinner at modestos, and ur presence itself, made everything really wonderful and made me one of the happiest girls in the world. im so glad i have u! :):)

i felt like i wasted a lot of my hols away (excluding attachment). for one thing, i hadnt really packed my table since the sem ended (have yet to get a big box to store my textbooks in cos my cupboard ish have no more space desu).

and i dont really felt like i've officially started on fyp although we kinda did. heh. crapz.

i didnt get to get outta singapore :(

i didnt get to hibernate and rot!!!! for at least 2 days.

supposedly last day of work today, but took half day off cos my flu was making me vry groggy by lunchtime. went home napped a bit, and got out again for euflomba gathering before zhiyong flies off to korea for the next sem!

yup anws, dinner at al-azhar and had some form of buffet over der! youwei ordered enough food to feed all 12 of us as always~ and headed down to holland v's daily scoop for ice cream after tt! :D lotsa laughters during all the eating and squeezy car-rides (i almost merged with the car door on the way home) and yay just super nice to be hanging out with this bunch of bandmates again! :):) supersad that i cant join them for kbox on monday noon cos i have lessonnnnnn. miss singing with them loh! lol. but i guess we'll be meeting on sunday again to send zy off :)

really happy that its over cos its an instantaneous stress-reliever :P im serious. lol. but tts not to say i didnt enjoy the whole thing! i love my One More Stop even though im almost-always bullied in one way or another (>=(), and it was nice performing on the same stage as Quis and Lemon tooo! :D guess the show today was quite alright although there wasnt much of a crowd. thanks to all those who came down to give us ur support!!! :)) think the soundmen did quite a gd job too in balancing up the sounds cos the band really sounded quite okay on recording :) great job to everyone! and to my dearest bandmates for making the great music behind me tooo :D:D

i suddenly miss everyone a lot :(

my sec sch ntmb girls, my jc sistas, my ahgold from pjcsb, my psychies, my ntusb bandmates, my care corner interns, and even the noisy pri 5 kids from woodlands primary.

i would love to meet up with every single group there to just hang out, have a meal, catch up on each other's lives, or just enjoy each other's company like how we so frequently did when we were uniform-students before we moved on to the next phase in our lives.

i miss hanging out this entire bunch of people, but why do i have so many things in my life.

if there's a de-clutter button, i would select that.
but then again, i dont wanna lose the things that i currently have now too.
band life, jamming life, time spent on making money, time spent with my darling, the minimal time spent with my family, time i wanna spend letting my body rest and recharge its engine before it runs for another semester again.

concerts, gigs, performances, all the obligations that i have. committed because i love music, but sometimes its love-hate too because i also wish they'll take up lesser time but i know thats almost impossible.

squeezing out a few days in my week to work while i still can. even though the pay isnt sky-high, at least it can help top-up the pathetic amount i have in my account. i wanna not-work and just enjoy the remaining of my hols too but im desperate for money because i already have a near 40k debt waiting for me to clear when i graduate. to think im even considering taking masters/post-grad studies? think i can just throw that thought aside le. seriously. 40k is no joke... and i hate being poor and broke all the time. i can chiong for work all the way, but that will mean taking out meaningful things in life, and i dont want that to happen because life, or at least, MY life, isnt all about money. i dont wanna make it all about money and in the end succeed as a person with lotsa dollar notes but with nth else in my life. i still want gd relationships with my loved ones, i still wanna play music til i grow old and cannot play anymore, i still wanna enjoy the things around me while they're still here, and not look back and regret the fast-paced life that i lived in the sole pursuit of money and clearing debts.


but i really have a huge debt to clear, a big final year project to finish, and a few more exams to tackle. how am i gonna make enough money to clear even half the debt before the interest kicks in 1.5 years from now?

16th Jul' 10 : end of 10-week attachment at Care Corner!

really sad that its the end of my attachment cos its been 10 amazingly TERRIFIC weeks that i had there!! yeah kinda sucks that it isnt a paid attachment and to some it may even be a stupid option to volunteer my free labour. but it has really been all worth it and it's definitely been one of the best experiences i've ever had in my life! :D nv once felt like im reporting to work even though i officially am, because everyday is just filled with fun and im greeted with lotsa laughters (and retardedness :P) from my fellow interns and staff every morning! :) many times, its the people u're working with who make the difference between "work... -_-" and "work! :D". im glad to say i've been really fortunate to be blessed with an entire team of wonderful interns and staff who've been very supportive, fun to work with and play with, and who made every weekday of my life so awesome in my days at the YC. not to mention, the experience of counseling and youth work that comes along with it which made me learn so much along the way :) its been one of the best 10 weeks of my life!! and one of the uni summer holidays i'll never ever forget :) thank u guys! u guys really rawkkk ;)

24th Jul' 10 : Universal Studios!!

many thanks to dear's company for the tickets! wouldnt've gotten the chance to go there if not for that hahaha :P (where got money to buy tt $72 ticket!!)

was good that the weather was cooperative! not sunny, no rain, just cloudy cool weather :) and it was like back-to-childhood when i stepped into the place!!! although it wasnt an overseas experience, it did feel very out-of-singapore cos of the design and all. wooots felt like a tourist mann!! hahaha :P the place itself wasnt that big of course, just a loop of abt 5 different zones? but i'd say its not bad lah. sad that the big roller coaster isnt opened yet! but then again, even if it is im also not sure if i'll have the guts to take it haha :P the indoor roller coaster at the egypt/revenge of the mummy zone was awesome though! really gets ur adrenaline up with all the darkness (and fake mummies) inside and not knowing when the car's gonna go downslope or wad. very exciting!! XD took the ride 2 more times after that with mel's intern frens just for the sake of a nicer photo hahahaha. posing for the camera while going downslope was funnn XD

not many other rides i thk.. just this smaller roller coaster outdoors, shrek 4D show, this steven spielberg special effects studio thingy, and the waterworld performance which soaked the back of my shirt even before i sat down lol. initially wanted to sit in the first row but we realised 1st 3 rows were the 'soak zone', and next 3 up were 'splash zone' =/ yeah kinda got soaked even while walking down (the performers there were really merciless with their water 'machine guns' lol) so decided to go back to dry area :P nv bring clothes to change so cant get too wet! haha. the performance was good anws! love all the explosion effects and stuff~~

and of cos, company was good :) splendid day out with melvin! XD

headed back to help out with the primary school workshop with siping! :) nice to see the kids again although they were kinda more rowdy this time round~ hope they enjoyed the dodgeball and captain's ball games! :D

table soccer-ed a bit with siping and CJ after tt, had our debrief for the workshop tt day, and gina and sam arrived at YC! :D super happy to see them again~~ but joy and connie were missing! >.< hahaha. we'll meet up again next wk! :D
