mummy's toothache acted up reaaaally badly ytd night so i accompanied her over to KTPH to see the dentist. thank goodness her nurse friend knew the dentist and got her an advanced appointment so everything was pretty fast. cheers to auntie vivian! :)

anyhoo, wad we thought was a wisdom tooth-ache turned out to be just a bad decay so all mom needed was a normal tooth extraction. pheww to no need for dental surgery and also to a much, much lower cost. extraction and surgery is like hundreds of dollars apart ya knowww! >.<

but yup. glad everything's ok now, except for some residual numbness (the dentist gave her lke 4 shots of anaesthesia omg. cos her tooth was already painful before the extraction =x). i know its just a toothache but i swear its scary when u suddenly get a call from ur mom at 6.50am and she's telling u she needs to go the hospital. -.- not fun at all, okay.


rest of the day was spent snoozing at home (i got no lessons today. not i pon ok :P), then doing up more job applications. rahh hate the process. pls pls make my efforts worth it and let me know im shortlisted somewhere~~ *prays* haha. yes i really need a job. HAIX TTM.

and dear food god, whoever u are, pls bring my appetite back. checked my weight today again and realised i lsot another kg :(:( whyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!! duno why im still losing weight but i REALLY want to gain my normal weight back. i dont like being fat but i dislike being skinny as much too. just hope it isnt sth wrong with my health =/ we shall see.

woke up bright and early at 5.15am on the 18th and headed towards boon lay shopping centre for our coach, and off we were to genting highlands!! :D

the coach ride was manyhours-ly long but luckily there was melvin, sleep, cleo, and mp3 to keep me company! :)



stopped over at the commonplace yong ping for a quick meal, and looookkkk there's a heart-shaped cong1 in our fishball noodle soup!! so cute! XD

few more hours of coach ride and WE REACHED!!! swaku us werent sure where to check in so walked all the way to hotel lobby before realising we shld check in at the tour counter which we walked past.. lol so we walked back there again. ohwells~~ exercise after a long ride ish good! hahaha. got our room key after 1 hr and off we go to explore the mall! :):)

they're really not bad! :D:D dear's 酸辣面 was awesome-ish and my some-dumpling-拉面 was not bad too just tt soup was a bit bland. side dish 水煎包 (not in photo forgot to take =x) was yummy tooo!! thought it was like panfried xiao long bao but turns out its panfried BAO lols. nice nice! :D:D


did most of our shopping - or rather, his shopping, cos i didnt get to see anything nice enough :( - on first evening, and headed to the outdoor theme park next morning! :D:D but before all the roller coasters came, there was breakfasttttt!! XD

unfortunatelyyyy the attempt to warm up was TOTALLY -.-"" so much for haunted pirate train and for me anticipating some fake ghost jumping out at us from the sides.
NOTHING. THERE. WAS. NOTHING! >=( yes so it was just a ride through a dark meandering path and then back out again. boooooo :(

i never dared to take this when i was young cos i was horrified by the idea of being turned upside on a speeding roller coaster (see photo below). this time, i was half dragged by my bf so.. hahahaah. BUT ITS DAMN FUN I TELL U!!! ehh why we nv take again ar :( lol.

and after warm up we took G-FORCE!!!



tadaaaaaa the ride that pulls u high up into the sky and drops u from that height~ can literally feel ur butt lift off the seat one lol. took this during my previous trip and that time it was unfortunately foggy so i went up to see nothing and dropped VERY SUDDENLY lol. thank goodness this time the weather was clear :D if not i wldnt have seen genting from that height!!! XD

went up to dinosaur land after that. nth much until we saw this reptile booth where u can take photos with a snake/iguanas and there was this SUPER CUTE ANGMOH BOY who was so engrossed with the baby python!! hahahah and he's SUPER CUTE becos he does the exact opposite of what ppl say. for eg, to get him to smile at the camera, the parents gotta say "now, dont look at the camera Sam, and dont smile~~" and Sam just looked at the camera and beamed! hahahaha suuuuper cute!! XD XD

headed to casino after dinner! wahahaha first time entering casino and the experience was.... mmm not v gd?? lols. we didnt really like that place. first of all, the machines are so hard to use!! not exactly user-friendly :( secondly, the place was FULL OF SMOKE!!! super uber ultra mega irritating >=( and thirdly, WE DIDNT WIN ANYTHING LOL. we even lost away our last 62 centsssss :(:( ohwellssssss just for the experience hahaha.

there was a 4-man band performing at the small stage though, playing classic oldies songs. they're quite nice! all 4 of them can sing so they kinda took turns to lead and harmonise. instruments were just keyboard, electric guitar and some small percussion instruments. doesnt seem like a lot but what they played was really enjoyable to the crowd! we likeeee :):)


tiring day 2 ended and it was almost time to go home! i dowannnn :(:( dont wanna go home to a reality where fyp existsssssss LOL. ok tts gonna be some digression le so, back to LAST DAY OF GENTINGGGGGG!

weather was VERY VERY clear so we had a good view from the usually-fogged-up hotel window!





had free breakfast buffet cos of the voucher and no pictures sadly cos we were too happily gobbling food and taking more food before they're all gone lol. wish i can buffet breakfast everyday!! XD


(ok nvm thk i take back that wish hahahaha melvin just said i grew fatter today! =/)

checked out at 12pm and had 2 hrs to kill before departing. so we lunched at macs and entertained ourselves crazy with finger twister and our m&m keychains! hahaha the videos are super lame :P









yupp and it was coach ride back to singapore, and the end of our 3D2N genting trip! a short and simple trip yet so fun with the good company i had! :D thank u dear~~~ hope u enjoyed as much as i did! :D but yup i know u did :):) hehe yays!




soon after genting trip ended, it was FYP TIME AGAINNNNN :(

but erm i hadnt really touched on that heh. BEEN OUT SHOPPING TODAY!!!!! havent bought ANY cny stuf at all so went to shop at bugis today after accompanying dear for his audition in the noon! :D heeee hope he gets pass the first round!!! *prays prays*

anyhoo, me ish happy girl cos i bought so many things today!!!! kinda got all i needed for cny so yeppp shopping's done! :D finallyyyy. thank u to melvin for fighting thru the crazy weekend bugis crowd with me!! and omg bugis expanded SO MUCH i didnt even know!! for the first time, i didnt finish walking the whole place :( its so big now! but maybe its the crowd too bah. SO. HARD. TO. WALK. but all the efforts are worth it cos i got everything i needed :):) woohooo!

anyhoo, 2011 had a nice start! hope everyone else's was good :) i had my really-long-awaited ktv session at partyworld with dear and band ppl, registered my subjects FOR THE LAST TIME - yay! and :(( - , attended my first band practice after 28750374 years and finally played my flute after neglecting it for 3 months, wakeboarded impromptu-ly, and met up with my LONG-LOST GOLDIE TODAY!!!!!!

i am so so SOO happy :D:D:D

its been TWO LONG YEARS since we last met!!! how is it even possible that we finish catching up in two hours of lunch u tell me :( haha but at least we summarised our lives in the past two years for each other! now we have an inkling of each other's lives again~~~ :D cant wait for our double date!! havent met kenneth for years also hahaha all my long lost friendssss!!!

and im so happy i accomplished my next "biggest things in life" just ytd! seriously, which part of me looks like i will even TRY water sports??? =OOO lol but i did! and wakeboarding is really quite fun :):) but yeah, i wish i could stand longer!! NEVERTHELESS, i ish contented enough that i managed to stand for even 5secs :D

but im not as much a wakeboarder as mr lee~ tsk. its the sports cells in him lahhhhh. im 100% sure none of my cells even register sports in their program lohh haha. so jealous he managed to stand like SUPER DUPER LONG!! like if he nv try funny things like waving one hand and all tt (as requested by instructor to try) we'll really be able to pull him all the way back to the pier! lols. yay good job dear! wakeboarder in the making!! just like me!! :D hahahahahaha.
